According to the unified arrangement of the municipal party committee to the township office, I decided to help the village to be Baibei Village, Nanling Township, Zezhou County. Baibei Village is one of the six villages in Houdihe, Nanling Township, Zezhou County. It is a “model village” before the Anti-Japanese War and is the frontier of the “Tuling Incident”. The village has a total of 278 people and 260 mu of cultivated land. The main source of income for the villagers is agriculture and animal husbandry. The village committee has no economic entities. In XX, the per capita income is less than 1,000 yuan.

Since last year, the committee has helped the village to raise 100,000 yuan to help repair a 15km long cement road from Nanling via Baibei Village to Motan Tourist Area. It provided great convenience for the villagers to walk out of the mountains, and also opened a new passage for the convenience of foreign tourists to the Motan tourist area.

In 2019, I appointed a point to help the work under the correct leadership of the municipal party committee and the municipal government. The leadership team gave high priority. At the beginning of the year, the party committee was specially convened, and the staff of the working group was identified and a work plan for assistance was formulated. In mid-May, Comrade Liu Jianguang, deputy director of the Committee, led the members of the poverty alleviation working group, Mr. Niu Jinde and Comrade Lei Gaosheng, to go to the Baishou Village, Nanling Township, Zezhou County, the poverty alleviation point, and cooperate with the village committee to help. After investigations and field investigations, the focus of this year's poverty alleviation work was reached.

The focus of this year's assistance work is to add a 1,200 square meter tourist parking lot on the basis of the road. The project needs to fill the dam in the front of the village. The amount of construction is 15,000 cubic meters of earthmoving and 1400 cubic meters of stonework. A total investment of 200,000 yuan is required. Among them, the villagers invested 1.4 million yuan in investment, 30,000 yuan in cement and 40,000 yuan in transportation and miscellaneous fees.

Through the study of the poverty alleviation working group and the village two committees, it is believed that the project will provide a stable and long-term road to prosperity for the village collectives and villagers by providing supporting services for the Motan tourist area, thus promoting the whole village to get rid of poverty and become rich. At present, the village committee can mobilize villagers to invest and raise funds to solve 100,000 yuan, and we need to help and coordinate the settlement of 50,000 yuan.

After the work focus was determined, the village committee immediately launched the villagers and carried out the intense construction. The members of the committee of the committee assisted the active parties to contact the support funds. At present, the dam and filling project has been completed, the parking lot has been opened, and the benefits have already begun to appear. The support fund of 50,000 yuan has been implemented and will be in place in the near future.
