After I have been thinking for a long time, I decided that I have to work hard to help the disabled and be a volunteer. This is a good idea and I want to do well. This is a few years, I have been glad that I have done a good job!

2019 has passed and ushered in 2019. Our volunteer activities have passed another year. On the occasion of going to the old and welcome, I carefully sorted out the work carried out in the past year and set a plan for next year so that our group's volunteer service can be in the new year. It’s better done. We are the Disability Service Corps, which mainly serves the disabled. Serve through a variety of different service methods.

I am a volunteer first, serving the Disability Service Corps and actively participating in various volunteer services. And as a vice captain, my main responsibility is to coordinate the captain to complete the work assigned by the Youth League, and to arrange our own work, including daily work, event planning, financial processing, etc. within the group. Let me summarize some of the services I have done in 2019:

First: Guangzhou Likang Center, this is an institution that helps people with mental illness. I am responsible for this service point. We will fix the monthly, as well as the Mid-Autumn Festival, Christmas and other programs, will organize volunteers to go to the Likang Center service, communicate with the mentally ill people, join the birthday party, chess games, etc., will also go outside to travel, such as going Over the Dafu Mountain and so on. We also have a men's and women's football team, playing football with "Friends" every month.

Second: A series of activities of the Youth League Committee, our group also participated in the cooperation.

Such as: Spring Festival volunteer service; Guangzhou family 1+1 national volunteer action; February flower market volunteer service, flower protection action; Guangzhou disabled person survey; November national sports meeting......

Third: organize disabled people to go out and let disabled friends go out of their homes and get in touch with the society.

Such as: February organized a disease to the Yuexiu Flower Street.

In March, the disabled were organized to visit the aerospace spectacle.

In May, the disabled were organized to visit the Tianhou Palace in the South China Sea.

On May 27, the disabled were organized to board Baiyun Mountain.

In November, organize disabled people to see the Guangzhou Auto Show.

Fourth: There are activities on the side of the "Disability Alliance". Volunteers are needed. We also cooperate with us.

Such as: the activities of the Teacher's Day Disabled Literature Class; the National Day Tea Party in the Huatai Hotel during the National Day celebration;

Fifth: During the Dragon Boat Festival and the Mid-Autumn Festival, we organized disabled people to go to the health care homes and the elderly, and the volunteers joined together to celebrate the festive season.

Sixth: Birthdays with some widowed disabled people.

For example, we have a service object living in a residential care home in Baiyun District. He is inconvenient to move. In July, we organized some volunteers to pick him up and play, and went to Hatfeng Mountain to accompany him for birthday. Also, in the disabled in Guangzhou, we send our hearts to the disabled for the birthday.

Seventh: on-site service.

Such as: hygiene, talk about the heart, etc., these services, we are all irregular, often there are too many, here will not elaborate.

Next year's work plan:

First: follow up the original service targets and service points, further improve the quality and level of services, and make sound records of activities and activities.

Second: continue to develop more service objects and projects, and be able to help more people.

Third: Strengthen contact and exchange with other voluntary organizations, and learn from each other's strengths. We must also promote our group so that we can recruit more talents with different expertise to join our group so that our team can develop better.

Fourth: Conduct targeted training for volunteers. Cooperate with other centers such as the Disabled Persons' Federation, or invite other professionals to train our team's volunteers on various skills related to disability.
