In the second semester of XX--2019, the Foreign Affairs Department of the Student Union launched a new round of work under the leadership of the new Minister. During this semester, our work has gained and made mistakes. Here is a summary of the work of the Department of Foreign Affairs in the past six months:

In this semester, our department's work mainly includes: regular visits to the brothers and universities to communicate in various aspects, and the contact information of the student unions sent to our school; invited to participate in various celebrations, study experiences and friendships on behalf of our school students' unions ; Go to other colleges and universities for outreach work exchanges; receive foreign students to visit student union members and discuss sponsorship issues with merchants.

The work done by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is mainly to promote sponsorship to ensure the normal operation of school funds, and to increase publicity of the school and increase the visibility of the school in society. As the second-ranked Yangtze River Vocational College in colleges and universities, the student union is one of its facades. It is presented in front of everyone, and the Department of External Relations is a platform to showcase the long-term student style.

In various exchanges with other institutions, we saw our own shortcomings and got inspired from them. This has greatly helped us to engage in outreach work in the future, and our work has become more and more convenient.

The work of the Department of External Relations during the semester has had achievements and mistakes. First of all, I have done some work for the faculty of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For example, in terms of contacting external schools, we can say that it has done a good job to a certain extent, but it seems to ignore the importance of intra-school links and does not give full play to the functions of the department. There is a lack of communication between the student unions of the colleges and the school and the student unions . The transmission of information is not timely and causes some problems to appear, which hinders the progress of the work.

Secondly, there has been a large flow of personnel within the department, which has affected the smooth development of the department's work and affected the work of the entire student union . Because the members of the department did not adapt to the working style of the new minister, most of the members were lax, and because there was no effective communication with the bureau of the minister, some outstanding members left the department. This is the loss of our external department. In the case of extreme shortage of personnel, the remaining members still try to keep the work of the external department as normal as possible, which is worthy of reward.

Because there is no good handover with the departing members, some of the merchants that contacted them have interrupted contact with us and affected the sponsorship work. This is another major work mistake of the external department, and we will definitely pay attention to it and make up for it as soon as possible.

In particular, some members were lax in their work and the management of the minister was weak. As a result, several departments were not held, so that the work information transmitted by the bureau and the tasks assigned to them were not communicated to the members in time, which directly led to the completion of the work of the external department. schedule. This is our mistake, we have carried out a profound reflection and corrected it as soon as possible.

In the course of future work, we will certainly do a good job in all aspects of communication, find problems and solve problems in a timely manner, and work hard to make the Outreach Department develop better.
