I. Work development

At the beginning of the school, in September, we actively carried out a series of work around the establishment of the “Bilingual Science and Technology Propaganda Team for Minority Undergraduates”. Considering that ethnic colleges and universities are highly concentrated areas of ethnic minority talents, we decided to give full play to and use our school. Ample resources for outstanding students and experts, under the leadership of the teachers of the school's Youth League Committee, through the Student Union to organize daily campus cultural activities, community organizations, social practice, three rural areas, teaching internships, volunteer services and other activities, actively mobilize students to learn Bilingualism, serving the enthusiasm of ethnic minority areas, set off a "bilingual science" boom in our school.

Second, work measures and effectiveness

Our school set up a bilingual science community for minority college students, invited famous professors and linguists from our school to serve as community consultants, and jointly organized the weekly language learning activities of the minority schools. The minority language speech contest and the essay contest with the theme of "minority folk customs and local characteristics" were held many times. 2. The Youth League Committee and Student Union of our school regularly hold the campus science education activities of the “National Science Popularization Window” with ethnic characteristics. 3. 4. The bilingual science popularization team of minority college students of our school has actively and effectively contributed to the popularization of science in minority areas through social practice and activities in the countryside.

In October 2019, under the leadership of the Youth League Committee of the Youth League, the minority bilingual science propaganda team of our school went deep into the counties of the Hui nationality in the poverty-stricken areas of Ningxia, and the students of the science team went deep into the grassroots of each township and village, and visited the village as a unit. 6. The minority students of our school account for more than half of the total number of students in the school. Insufficient resources and uneven use are another obstacle in the work of the bilingual science popularization team of minority students in our school.
