Ren Xinmin said that among the construction fees of 3,000 yuan per square meter of villagers in Daying Street, 2,000 yuan was contributed by Yu Shijian! The economy of Daying Street started with the construction industry of Hongtashan Tobacco Factory.

He said that he came here to be a student of Qi Shijian. Mr. Yang and Yan Shijian, there are several farmers who are buying chicken manure at the same chicken farm. Most people who buy chicken manure are directly carrying chicken dung bags packed in chicken farms, weighing and paying. But when the time is different, he will pour out the chicken manure and put it on the palm of his hand to see how much water is there. If you see if there is too much sawdust, he will bargain with the person who sells chicken manure. "The chicken manure is stinky! I can't do it at all. When I saw the old man rubbing the chicken manure, I was shocked. Can you imagine it? A person in his 80s who has that experience, put a bag The stinky chicken manure fell to the ground and grabbed it with his hand. His eyes were not so good, and he had to look at it!" said Mr. Yang.

In the room on the Jianshan Mountain, we saw more than 20 books on citrus cultivation that had been turned over, and some places were painted and labeled. In the past ten years, many of the technical problems of sugar orange planting have been discovered by Yan Shijian and his team through reading, and then step by step to practice. The source of these books is not mysterious. It is not a professional material that is only available abroad. It is bought directly from the bookstore. In the early days of the development of orange, Yan Jianjian often appeared in Yuxi's bookstore, at least once a month to see if there is a new book on citrus cultivation. More than once, we asked the technical experts and management cadres of the company: "If you set up a chief engineer in your orange orchard, who is the most suitable?" Everyone said the same thing: "褚时健." These people are no shortage of He worked in the Citrus Research Institute for more than 20 years and later worked as a technical expert for more than 10 years in the Orange Orchard. In fact, all the technical experts said: "The oranges in the Achilles tendon have overturned many of our previous technical ideas. The management cadre of Orange told us: “When Shijian often buys books, he not only buys them but also buys them. For some targeted technical books, he often asks us that some content has not been read, or ask us. I want to see, in the face of such a boss, do you dare not look seriously? He is really serious. Many professional books, in fact, we have all learned, but in some places, I will be asked."

In order to truly "see" the professional level of Qi Shijian, during the interview, we deliberately randomly selected from the more than 30 pages of the 2019 work plan and summary, in the hundreds of planting management items, one of the following: February ulcer Disease examination, four-year tree and fruit tree according to the standard of 15 leaves/plant, deducting the advance living cost of 10 yuan/plant; the first, second and third year of the tree according to the standard of 3 leaves/plant, deducting the advance living cost of 10 yuan/plant. We asked: "What does this rule mean? How come?" When we didn't wait for our voice to fall, Yan Shijian began to explain: "The first, second, and third year trees and the four-year tree have different hormones. Some of the big trees have more leaves. When there is an ulcer disease, we have some differences in the requirements for small trees and big trees. The specific basis for this difference is that we continue to practice and have only come to the conclusion. Too high, and the peasants’ efforts can’t be done. The demands are not meaningful. The fines will breed emotions. However, we must try to control the disease. Therefore, these regulations are also some detours, according to the actual situation. Change it and change it slowly and let the peasants accept it. Only in this case, more than 10 yuan is exceeded, and 10 trees are over, that is, the peasants’ wages are one day...” The old man is very familiar with hundreds of such trivial management details and the truth behind it! No wonder those experts who have studied citrus cultivation for 30 years admire Yan Shijian. .

What is management? Management is concrete.

What is the quality of life? The quality of life is a 75-year-old person, starting with a 25-year-old person at the same starting line. Ten years later, at the age of 85, he left the 35-year-old competitor far behind!

When we interviewed Shi Jianjian for the second time, we specially brought a few Australian oranges to listen to Yan Shijian’s insights on Australian oranges. One of the oranges had some scars on the surface. When we bought it, we didn't care. When we were going to cut the oranges, we saw this orange with a glimpse. He picked it up and told us: "This orange is not cut, I want to study." I know that Qi Shijian is an expert, but for a person who is already 87 years old, his grasp and sensitivity to the details of his expertise once again shocked us. According to the information we have inquired, there are as many as 26 kinds of citrus-growing diseases; there are 29 major categories of insects, and there are many kinds under each category. Taking cockroaches as an example, there are many categories such as red spider, yellow spider, side polyphagous mites, tumor wall mites, and rust mites. Faced with a small scar on an orange, Yan Shijian directly recognized the cause behind it and the specific pest category.

This person is a bit of a god.

Seriously! Seriously! Seriously! Throughout the interview process, we always heard the “seriousness” of others when we mentioned Qi Shijian. At the end of the interview, we really realized what is “serious”.

Obviously, Wang Shi, who has only seen Qi Shijian twice, is too superficial about the conclusion that “Zhen Shijian is a natural actuary”! The basis of actuarial is data, the data comes from observation and record, and observation and record must be based on serious attitude. It seems that the place where Yan Shijian is better than his peers is not the precise calculation, but the seriousness.

However, our question still has no answer. Is it because in these four industries, people who are concurrent with Yan Shijian are not too serious, which leads to the fact that this time is too serious for people who are too serious? Back to Beijing, I am in the cafeteria of Peking University. I saw Professor Zhang Zhixue, the vice president of Guanghua School of Management. I asked him this question. He said a word after listening to it and let me think about it so far. He said: "Is it possible that in countries with developed industrial levels, there are one in 10,000 people like Yan Shijian; and in China, one in 100,000 people?"

Indeed, industry needs to be fine, finely dependent on data, and data comes from seriousness. In the history of modern industry, China has nothing to admire in the world. Is it really our modern culture that lacks the word "serious"?

At the end of the interview, we asked the last question of Qi Shijian: "You are doing better than others in 4 industries, is it because you are smart, or because others are stupid?" Yan Shijian said bluntly: "I am not smart. Sometimes, I am very stupid, especially when dealing with others."

However, when he mentioned his "seriousness", the old man thought for a long time. He said: "I am indeed a 'serious' person." However, Yan Shijian also has his own interpretation of "seriousness". He said: "I see I have been to many people and feel that they are serious and may even be more serious than me. But they do not matter what they do, and they treat them the same. I think it is necessary to distinguish between the primary and the secondary, the serious issues on the key issues, and the small problems to be able to pass. Everyone The energy is limited. To figure out what is big and focus on solving the main problem, it is a big account."

Yan Shijian described an example to us. In order to resist the Huanglong disease, the orange orchard takes the approach of preventing the main and preventing the rule. In doing so, the annual cost of pesticides will cost an additional 600,000 yuan. Qi Shijian has no restrictions on this expenditure. At each meeting, the measures for preventing Huanglongbing will be passed as long as they are effective. The pesticide cost does not need to be written in the financial budget, nor does it need to go through any review process and report directly to the purchase. Why? Because Huanglong disease is too powerful and improperly prevented, it may destroy the entire orchard. Qi Shijian saw a 50,000-mu orange park invested by Hong Kong people in Guangxi. Because of Huanglong disease, he did not earn any money for 10 years. Therefore, he believes that for the orange orchard, if it can effectively prevent Huanglong disease, don't say 600,000 yuan, and you should do more if you invest more. Looking back now, this not only guarantees the annual output of the orange orchard, but also extends the life of the orange tree in the orange orchard. For every one year of orange tree life, the benefits of the entire orchard are over 100 million yuan, which is far greater than the cost of pesticides. We asked again: "Does the Hong Kong boss invest in tens of thousands of acres of orange gardens, will he pity the pesticide money?" Yan Shijian smiled and said: "Not that they regret, they do not know how to do it. They do not study, do not ponder, Putting money down, I’m counting on getting things done. In fact, they may not understand it until now, how their orange trees die so soon!”

This is the gap! It took 12 years for Jianshi Jian to stand in the fields and watch his own orange tree grow from small seedlings to today's fruit. Accompanied by the growth of these small saplings is the more technical book in the conference room, and the more and more densely labeled in the book. Yan Shijian’s understanding of the inside and outside of this business has already surpassed most of his peers. Yan Shijian said: "If I go backwards for 20 years, I can manage the tobacco factory better. Because in the process of planting rock sugar orange, I have learned a lot of knowledge about planting management, which may also be used for tobacco planting management. ”
