Master of Science in Plant Nutrition Program

First, training objectives

The overall training objectives are: to train high-level professionals in the field of plant nutrition for the comprehensive development of socialist modernization in China. The specific requirements are:

1. Politically support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, learn Deng Xiaoping's theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics and the party's line and principles, love the motherland, abide by the law, have good moral character, obey the distribution, and actively serve the socialist modernization.

2. Master the basic theories and professional techniques of plant nutrition in the business, familiar with the domestic and international research trends and development directions of the profession, and understand the theories and methods of related disciplines such as soil science crop cultivation and genetic plant protection. Master a foreign language and be able to read the foreign language materials of this major skillfully. In this subject, you can independently engage in research teaching and other technical management. The academic attitude is rigorous and the spirit of collaboration is good.

3, good health.

Second, the length of study

The full-time postgraduate study period is generally 3 years, including the course study science research writing thesis and practical education. The course study time is 1 to 1, 5 years, and the rest is the time for scientific research papers and thesis defense. Considering the characteristics of the plant nutrition discipline, it is best to have at least one complete growth season for scientific experiments in three years. The course study must be no less than 30 credits, and social practice teaching practice and public welfare labor account for 3 credits. If the master's student wants to extend or shorten the length of study, he or she will apply for it, and the examiner will approve it and submit it to the principal for approval, but the extension or shortening time is generally no more than one year.

The number of years of study for part-time graduate students is generally less than 4 years.

Third, the research direction

According to the needs of national economic construction and discipline development, there are 10 research directions in this major:

1. Plant Nutrition Physiology

It mainly studies the distribution and regulation of nutrient absorption and transportation of plants; the physiological functions of nutrients and their lack and excess symptoms and mechanisms, and the interaction of these processes with environmental factors; the research focuses on the chilling of plants and plants in the drought and salinity The nutrient physiology and adaptability of plants under environmental stress conditions such as poor nutrient deficiency or toxicity, the physiological functions and nutrient mechanisms of new inorganic nutrients and organic compounds provide a basis for rational fertilization.

2. Plant nutrition genetics

Applying the principles of plant nutrition genetics, using nutrient dynamics, enzymology and molecular biology methods to develop nutrient genetic characteristics of high-yield crops resistant to nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, zinc and other nutrients, crop variety screening and regulation of nutrient mechanisms, for efficient festivals The breeding of fertilizer varieties provides a scientific basis.

3. Research on fertilizer efficiency mechanism and application technology of compound fertilizer and various new fertilizers

Combining the chemical and agricultural sectors and production needs, research on the fertilizer efficiency and mechanism of compound fertilizers and new fertilizers, and provide a basis for industrial and agricultural production. It mainly includes: the mechanism of yield increase of ternary compound fertilizer; the application method and technology of environmental effects of calcium, magnesium sulphate, trace element rare earth and SeGeCo; the fertilizer efficiency mechanism of organic manure organic-inorganic compound fertilizer production process and the introduction country Experimental research on advanced technology and new fertilizers. Provide a basis for fertilizer production and application.

4. Research on improving fertilizer utilization technology

It is mainly aimed at the low utilization of nitrogen fertilizer and the loss of waste, and the development of balanced fertilization and computer recommended fertilization technology to solve the current agricultural production technology and application problems.

5. Soil nitrogen and nitrogen cycling and regulation

The main research on the dynamics of soil biomass nitrogen and its turnover nitrogen under different fertilization conditions, the relationship between microbial turnover nitrogen and crop absorption, the bioavailability of soil nutrient nutrients, the nitrogen utilization rate in fertilizers, and the regulation of soil-crop system cycling and fertilization .

6. Development of new high-efficiency slow-acting fertilizers and agricultural waste industrial use

Combining various material characteristics and crop nutrition rules, the formula and production technology of long-acting fertilizer controlled fertilizer slow-acting fertilizer magnetic fertilizer foliar fertilizer and organic-inorganic compound fertilizer were studied. Make full use of China's natural resources and industrial waste research, such as zinc boron iron manganese molybdenum and other industrial slag steel slag grass carbon brown coal and other resources utilization and development.

7. Tissue culture and soilless culture nutrition formula and application technology

One of the key technologies for successful tissue culture and soilless culture is the selection of optimized nutrient formulas, the application of the principle of plant nutrition, and the study of nutrient solution for some economic plants, which is one of the contents of plant nutrition research. In the past few years, some research laboratory tools have been established and some work experience has been accumulated.

8. Research and development of plant nutrition diagnosis and recommended fertilization technology

Qualitative and quantitative diagnosis and fertilization according to the characteristics of plant malnutrition and leaf color change; soil crop chemical diagnosis method; precision agriculture and fertilization technology; soil plant nutrition rapid diagnosis method and rapid tester application; DRIS technology nutrition map information system and diagnosis Apply technology.

9. Study on the impact of fertilization on environmental quality and benign ecological cycle fertilization techniques

On the basis of long-term fertilizer positioning test, the effects of fertilization on soil environmental quality, the effect of fertilization on heavy metal content in soil agricultural products, fertilization and greenhouse effect, provide a basis for rational fertilization, improvement of agricultural production environment quality and ecological agriculture.

10. MIT process of soil nitrogen

Combining the long-term positioning test of fertilizers, the mineralization process of nitrogen in soils, the microbial and mineral retention of mineralized nitrogen, the effects of long-term fertilization on the mineralization potential of soil nitrogen and the availability of crops, The net residual rate of net mineralization rate in different mineralization stages and the factors affecting the soil nitrogen MIT process.

Fourth, curriculum and credit requirements

The master's degree program is credited with a credit system that requires a total credit of 32 credits or more. The course is divided into compulsory courses and elective courses. The degree program is stipulated as six, including Marxist theory, the first foreign language, and the other is a professional basic course or a professional course. The elective course selects at least 5 courses according to the direction of graduate education. In addition, under the guidance of the instructor, the master students can also take courses in other related majors.
