A group of eight people, each with their own duties, preparations before departure are quite adequate. I am mainly responsible for the liaison between the early stage and the docking university ------ China Ocean University and the organization during the event.

Let's take the previous liaison work first. Ocean University does not have an organization dedicated to managing volunteers throughout the school. Therefore, the first consideration when contacting the liaison is to contact the other party committee. After several twists and turns, we finally found the contact of the organization department of the Youth League Committee. The way, but what I got was a refusal. The reasons are very good: First, the students of Ocean University are preparing or attending the final exam. Second, most of the volunteers who serve the Olympic Sailing Tournament are students from local universities. Many students have no time to take the exam review and public opinion to receive us. In desperation, I also tried to contact the general branch of the School of Economics and Management recommended by the Minister, but the general branch of the group did not receive the notice from the Youth League Committee and could not receive us. At this point, it is inevitable that there are some concerns.

Later, in communication with the head of the team, it was decided to save some activities. In this way, we still insist on our established destination. With the help of my classmates at Ocean University, I booked my residence in advance. On this basis, we arrived at the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao on July 7.

From a practical point of view, the most important thing to do when you go out is to solve the problem of food, clothing, housing and transportation. So I decided to start from Zibo in advance on July 6. I know that there are seven players behind me. In the past few trips to Qingdao and the help of my classmates, I found out the route of the event. At the same time, under the leadership of the classmates there, I went to check the reservation at the night, and the environment was OK. .

On the afternoon of the 7th, we wanted to find a competent department reception at the Ocean University Fushan Campus. Once, it was closer to the “base area”. Secondly, there were more familiar students and it was easy to carry out activities. However, we are not clear. The original Youth League Committee was not at this campus, but at the Lushan Campus. To summarize the factors of success, we can talk about the following three aspects.

First of all, everyone is very serious. Liu Qiao, the head of the life-running committee, and Liu Lan, who is the life committee for us to calculate complicated accounts, did not help Liu Meimeng, who did not give up any details, and Ma Lin, Yu Wangshu, who was not afraid of difficulties in cleaning up the moss. Secondly, it received strong support from the Student Union of the Ocean University Youth League Committee. The help of high school students has saved us a lot of time and energy. Of course, the most important thing is the support provided by the Ocean University Youth League Committee and the Student Union. As for my own gains, I can also talk about the following aspects:

First of all, I chose this social practice to be an ideological struggle. Because of the Olympic volunteers, I didn’t stay at home for the summer vacation this summer, but because I was eager to make my summer life more colorful, I was involved. If you don’t participate, you still choose the former. Although it’s a pity to give up 5 days from the 15-day rest life, you still have the courage to think that there are still many volunteers who can’t stay at home for a day. Secondly, this is the first summer social practice that I have participated in. Under the call of the Olympics megatrend, I am also full of enthusiasm. At the same time, I hope to learn some lessons from it and prepare for more social practice groups in the future. It turns out that the process of this practical activity has been successful from beginning to end, and it is worthy of my study and study.

Once again, the spirit of selfless dedication of volunteers once again deeply touched themselves. During the event, it happened to be the period of flooding in Qingdao. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the Olympic Sailing Competition, Shandong Province did not hesitate to hire the armed police officers and soldiers of other cities such as the Jinan Military Region to clean up Qingdao. The public enthusiasm is of course extremely high. As early as the afternoon, we have been eager to try to know the situation.
