Summary of the theme class

On the morning of October 23, we held a class meeting with the theme of “Learning Tan Zhiping”. We first introduce Tan Zhiping's deeds into three aspects: "tortuous learning," "Xiaogan world" and "return to society". The illustrated explanations have made many of the students who first met Tan Zhiping have a perceptual understanding of her story. In the following activities, the students conducted positive thinking and heated discussions around the theme. Several students who came to the stage to express their feelings have made a long speech, and started Lenovo from Tan Zhiping's deeds, which drove everyone's thinking and eventually returned to ourselves.

Discussion process:

In the discussion, Tang Shi’s classmates were inspired by Tan Zhiping’s deeds to tell the story of a person in his hometown who had similar experiences with Tan Zhiping. It’s just that the protagonist in the story has lost the tough will as Tan Zhiping, and finally lost to the cruel reality and suffered from schizophrenia. But even when she was unconscious, she did not forget the people who had helped her. Although this story is somewhat sad, it can make us more aware of the value of Tan Zhiping's self-improvement. When the hard-working life has suffered a great blow, the burden of the family falls on one person. Tan Zhiping can still embark on the road of learning in the twists and turns. This is the spirit worthy of learning by everyone! In the following speeches, Zheng Qian also emphasized Tan Zhiping's filial piety. Tan Zhiping not only filial piety to his relatives who have blood relationship with himself. Even for her stepmother, she is as filial as her own mother. Zheng Qian also cites some unfilial behaviors around her, which caused the students to reflect on their behavior. In the heated discussion, everyone mentioned all aspects of Tan Zhiping's deeds. Tan Zhiping has too many spirits worthy of our study and causing us to reflect. Everyone also unanimously praised Tan Zhiping’s behavior of establishing volunteer organizations to repay the society. It is just that we will also carry out volunteer activities for the nursing homes and orphanages in this semester. Many students said that they will contribute to the society like Tan Zhiping in the next volunteer activities!

Learning focus:

In the class meeting, we should learn the spirit of Tan Zhiping's self-improvement, entrepreneurial and enterprising spirit, learn his traditional virtues of respecting the elderly and returning to society, and learn the tenacity of his hard work and determination. He showed the high social responsibility and good spiritual outlook of contemporary college students, and he is an outstanding representative of contemporary college students.

Tan Zhiping should not be just a label of the era of contemporary college students. His role is to inspire more "Tan Zhiping" to come out of difficulties and get out of his wonderful life. We must learn from Tan Zhiping, because we lack his spirit, he should become an elevation and become a model for contemporary college students to learn.
