Summary of the work of the foreign trade department of Beihang University
In the past year, all foreign trade unions and members of the Teachers ' Congress have been closely united under the direct leadership and care of the party and government leaders. They not only earnestly completed the tasks and tasks assigned by the higher authorities, but also played a good role in democratic supervision. And the role of management has promoted the work of the Department of Foreign Languages in the rule of law, democratic supervision, democratic management, and system affairs. In addition, the trade unions and the Teachers ' Congress have, as always, worked tirelessly to do some practical things for the faculty and staff. The main work of XX is briefly summarized as follows.
I. Teaching the work of the Congress
During the year, the president of the Teachers' Congress attended the department meeting on behalf of the public, and brought the opinions and suggestions of the people directly to the department meeting, which was conducive to explaining the decision of the meeting to the public in a timely manner. Through the convening of meetings and telephone exchanges, the Teachers' Congress reviewed and approved all the important files formulated by the department, such as the Interim Provisions on the Benefits of Faculty and Staff of the Foreign Languages Department, the Regulations on the Reward of Academic Monographs by the Foreign Languages Department, and the Foreign Language Teachers of the Foreign Languages Department. Interim Provisions on Management, Interim Provisions on the Grant of Academic Monographs in the Foreign Languages Department, etc. 80% of the members of the Teachers' Congress can seriously perform their duties, carefully read the archives and propose amendments and suggestions, which are highly praised by the department leaders. In addition, all the representatives of the Teachers' Congress also actively echoed the call of the school and the party organization, participated in the evaluation of the leading cadres at the department level, and played the role of the teaching representative conference.
Second, participate in the activities organized by the school union
In XX, our trade unions overcame difficulties and actively organized faculty and staff to participate in all the activities and competitions organized by the school-level trade unions , and achieved the best results in recent years:
In the literary evening celebrating the 55th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, my program "The Earth's Flying Songs" was well received by the audience and won the second prize. He also won the “Spiritual Civilization Award” for his excellent organization.
At the 44th faculty and sports meeting of the school, our department won the first place in the women's long jump, the second place in the women's 1,500 meters, the second place in the women's post, the third place in the women's 800 meters, and the third place in the women's ball. The women’s team has a total score of six.
In the school table tennis competition, I won the fifth place in the women's team and the third place in the women's singles.
Our trade unions were awarded the “First Prize of Excellent Organization” and “Competition Award” by the school union .
The school union awarded me the honorary title of “Advanced Unit for Departmental Affairs Openness”.
Teacher Cao Qiaozhen won the first prize in the English group in the 4th Beijing University Young Teachers Teaching Basic Skills Competition, and won the honorary title of Beijing Education Innovation Model in XX.
Third, I am organized by the trade unions
Although more and more faculty and staff move out of school, which is not conducive to the development of trade union activities, the trade unions are closely related to the actual situation and carry out a large number of cultural and sports activities according to local conditions. For example, the previous “Sports and Fitness Festival” lasted for a month, but it is very difficult to organize this kind of time. We will disperse various sports projects and integrate them into the exchange learning activities held at the end of the period. Everyone has exercised and improved. Exchange and understanding, enriched the amateur cultural life. Specifically, the following activities were organized:
"Thirty-eighth Festival" organized women workers to go to Laiguangying Ecological Park to enjoy flower shopping;
In April, the faculty and staff organized a mountaineering competition in Xiangshan;
Apply for mutual medical insurance for all female workers;
A day trip to the Beijing Botanical Garden was organized in May;
The "May 4th" Youth Festival held a Karaoke competition;
“Sixth Section” pays gifts for employees' children;
In July, Baiyangdian-Baigou two-day tour was organized;
Organize all departments of physical education and flu shots;
Present a New Year gift to each union member at the end of the year;
On January 27th and 28th, more than 70 faculty members and their families were sent to the Badaling Hot Spring Resort for exchange and fitness. Activities include: Spring Festival Gala, swimming competition, skiing, hot springs, bowling, billiards, shuffleboard and more. Especially worth mentioning. On the 27th party, due to the proper organization, the union members and their families participated actively, and the atmosphere was very harmonious and active. This kind of activity provides an opportunity for mutual understanding, enhances friendship between faculty and staff, and promotes unity.
Although the work of the teachers ' congresses and trade unions has achieved certain results and has been recognized by the leaders and recognized by the people, we know that there is still a big gap between the demands of the party and the expectations of the people. The work of teaching representatives and trade unions must advance with the times and have new ideas and new measures. In the new year, the associations and trade unions must actively and actively seek the support of the school-teachers and the party and government leaders, and further develop the advantages of the associations and trade union groups to closely contact the people and promote the relationship between members and members.
