This semester, our school's "Chinese soul" reading activity has ended. Looking back at the work of one semester, we deeply feel that: play the "three" role, adhere to the "four combinations", and mobilize the enthusiasm of leaders, teachers and students. Do a good job in the fundamental guarantee of reading activities. The specific practices are summarized as follows:
First, play the "three roles", so that reading activities become the conscious action of the majority of teachers and students.

The first is to play the leading role of the school.

Our school has established a reading and leading group headed by the principal, the head of the leadership, the secretary of the Youth League branch, the class, and the teachers. It has achieved a clear division of labor and responsibility, and formed a party, government, industry, and youth to jointly manage and close. The working situation of cooperation. At the beginning of the semester, practical and feasible activities were also formulated. There were plans and measures, and there were inspections in the middle. At the end of the semester, there were summaries. In the learning activities, we advocated the concept of “reading culture and building a scholarly campus” and established three systems of reading, assessment, and reward to ensure the smooth development of the activities.

The second is to play the guiding role of teachers.

Teachers are the guides and organizers of students' reading. The enthusiasm of teachers is the key to students' good reading. Our school actively arranges relevant teachers to guide students. Some young teachers also use the Internet to connect with students to find information online, broaden their knowledge, and some have opened personal e-mail boxes to communicate with students online. In order to guide students to love to read and learn to be a person, our school attaches great importance to strengthening the construction of teachers' morality in reading activities, requiring teachers to be teachers, setting an example, and setting moral morality for students with noble personality charm. In the teachers, the activities of “two loves, three hearts, and four ones” were carried out, namely: loving career, loving students; being responsible, dedication, and enterprising; giving students a smile when communicating with students, giving students a mistake when giving Students are a little tolerant, give students some understanding when students encounter problems, and give more care to underachievers and poor students. We put forward the work goal of "casting the soul of China, shaping the people of the century" and working tirelessly. Under the influence of teachers, students speak ideals, speak morality, strictly observe discipline, and study hard. A good school spirit of "learning, being a teacher, seeking truth, and seeking newness" is taking shape.

The third is to play the main role of students.

To carry out the "Chinese soul" reading activities, students are the main body, and must fully mobilize the students' enthusiasm, initiative and creativity. When we organized the reading activities, we put forward the "three let go", that is, let the students participate in the planning of the activities; let the students play the leading role in the activities; let the students participate in the summary. The students emancipated their minds, innovated independently, and put forward many useful activities around the core of patriotism and the theme of honesty. Some students wrote “Companion with the book, broaden their horizons” and “get knowledge, three points in class”. Inside, the seven-point extra-curricular aphorisms are very popular among the students.

Second, adhere to the "four combinations" and use reading activities as an effective carrier of moral education

First, the combination of reading activities and classroom teaching. Classroom is not only a place to teach scientific and cultural knowledge, but also an important channel for moral education. Our school not only incorporates the "Chinese soul" into the ideological and political class, but other disciplines also flexibly incorporate the relevant content of the reader into their own teaching. The political teacher interspersed the contents of the book "Advocating Truth, Goodness, Aesthetics and Honesty" into the ordinary classroom, highlighting and deepening the integrity education; the language teacher instructs the students to write and listen to the textbooks in the classroom; the music teacher is in the classroom. Speaking of the "national anthem" knowledge, teaching patriotism and honest songs; art teachers in the painting class with "Shenzhou V" flying success, the top ten moving characters, hometown beauty, etc. to guide students' painting creation, so that students can deeply understand the love of the motherland The important ideological meaning of loving hometown and loving socialism. Classroom teaching incorporates the content of reading activities, enhances students' motivation, inspires students' thinking, and cultivates students' innovative ability, competitive consciousness and healthy psychological state. The interaction between teachers and students not only improves the quality of teaching, but also enhances students' quality.
The second is the combination of reading activities and moral education. Our school focuses on the goal of moral education with ritual education as the core, and closely combines reading activities with moral education, and trains students to start from me, start from small things, teach people by people, step by step, and persevere. Our school's "One-day routine" has become a code of conduct for teachers and students throughout the school. In the reading activities, students are taught to use the "Rules" to restrain themselves and to change bad behavior habits.

The third is the combination of reading activities and campus culture construction. Campus culture has a subtle influence on students' physical and mental health. In order to create a good reading environment for students, our school has determined the construction of campus culture as a breakthrough, integrating reading activities, fostering education and campus culture construction. Our school invested in the theme of each wall of the west wall, the famous sayings on the wall, the ancient poetry and other paintings, so that students can be edified and sublimated in the educational and humanistic environment. . It has attracted students' interest in reading, broadened the horizons of students, and formed an education of “reading the auxiliary virtues and reading the auxiliary wisdom”, which greatly improved the students' ideological and moral factors.

The fourth is the combination of reading activities and experience and practice education. It is the consensus of the teachers and students of our school to learn knowledge in the book and grow up in practice. In organizing reading activities, we attach great importance to the experience and practice of students, so that students can understand the truth of being a person in practice. Through visits, social surveys, and public welfare labor, students will be able to experience their skills and grow up happily in practice.

Although the "Chinese soul" reading activity of our school has achieved some achievements, it is only the beginning, and the more important tasks are still behind. We are determined to carry out the experience under the leadership of the Education Bureau and the school leaders, and to take advantage of the momentum and constantly create a new situation in our school's reading activities.
