Summary of the implementation of the music lesson "Instrumental Music into the Classroom"
The fishing flat country is located in the town of Yuxiakou, which is the smallest central small country in the county. For a long time, Yuping Elementary School adhered to the concept of quality education, and music class as the main front of school aesthetic education, has been highly valued by the school. However, there has always been such a misunderstanding in the teaching of music lessons: the national music lesson is singing or rhythm class, the teaching form is single, the students learn nothing, and the teacher teaches very hard and tired. In the past, Yuping Elementary School had a certain foundation in the teaching of instrumental music. In 1997, when I was working at Yuping Elementary School, the school organized a clarinet team, mainly for students who were interested in each class, and used extracurricular activities. Students conduct counseling training. Later, because of the transfer to secondary school, this interest activity stopped. In 2019, I returned to the Yuping Elementary School. I picked up my beloved clarinet and joined the experimental subject of instrumental music teaching in the county.
At the beginning of the clarinet class, students do not blow, feel that it is difficult to learn, and give up emotions. When I was in class, I asked a good student to perform. A very naughty little boy, "The Dragon's Successor," conquered a lot of listeners. The gentle and graceful Xiaoman blew a "Hope" to let other female students Envy. Although it is a few simple songs, it also arouses students' desire to learn clarinet. As a result, other students often ask them to demonstrate during class. The title of "Little Clarinet Master" allowed them to experience the joy of success. By taking a point and setting a typical method, the students in the experimental class have confidence and motivation to learn the clarinet.
Although it has not been a long time to carry out experimental research on instrumental music teaching in Yuping Elementary School, I have felt a lot of valuable things through the teaching practice over the past year:
First, through the activities of instrumental music into the classroom, the way of teaching and learning has changed. In the past singing class, the students did not know the scores. The teacher taught from the beginning to the end of the mouth, and now the students know the simple rhythm type, they can play the scores by playing the music, reducing the workload of the teacher. We often say: “It is better to teach fish than to teach it.” It is a change of learning style and a change of teachers’ teaching behavior through the tool of clarinet. It is also very beneficial to promote the professional growth of teachers . .
Second, for rural students, the clarinet is cheap and easy to learn. At the same time, it has a fixed pitch, which helps students master the time value, rhythm, vocal and music theory, and helps solve the problem of students singing. It helps to develop students' musical interest and appreciation, so that they can enter the music door. When I first introduced the clarinet to the classroom, many parents felt that it was good for the children. At least they could learn a simple instrument. Even the parents who would play the flute called me and asked about the difference between the clarinet and the flute. There are also parents who question the clarinet because the sounds blown out by the children are not tune. For these, I will explain to the parents one by one. I think only the children have learned a certain degree. Parents will support us even if they see the progress of the children. work.
The third is to cultivate students' sense of teamwork through instrumental music teaching. Music is a very practical subject. It guides students to learn music, learning and practice through organization, design, division of labor, cooperation, discussion and negotiation. It is a good way for music teaching to use student resources for teaching. In teaching, I often use group training and cooperative performance. At the beginning, some students are self-contained, regardless of others, resulting in poor group performance, and some students blame each other. I pointed out in time that their problem is the lack of cooperation spirit. The beautiful music has a discordant note that sounds harsh, so we must help each other and improve together.
Under my leadership, the other two part-time music teachers of our school also acted. The second-grade music teacher introduced the clarinet to the classroom, and the flute was melodious in the music class. The first grade is mainly based on homemade instruments, such as the sand hammer made with the PET bottle, and the flute whistle that is rolled out by the leaves. These gadgets not only let the children of the lower grades feel the childlike interest. With a strong interest in learning music, I realized that the original music is around us.
It is particularly worth mentioning that last year, through the match between the county and the Federation of Literature and Art Chen Harin and the county research and training center Tian Yuhong, the famous Hong Xiao music education workstation in the national music education community organized more than 20 music teachers from all over the country during the summer vacation. Our school taught free of charge, donated a large number of musical instruments to our school, and said that we should pay attention to the development of instrumental music teaching in our school for a long time. This activity undoubtedly gave a strong boost to the music teaching work of our school.
Although the research on the subject of "the educational value of Chinese small instrumental music teaching in mountainous areas" has been completed, the road to education is long. Through practice, it has also proved that instrumental music enters the classroom plays an important role in learning music. The valuable things are naturally used for me, so we will continue along the path of “Chunter into the classroom”. "People are expensive, and they have a high standard of learning." As long as we insist on not giving up, we will make the flower of art bloom more brilliantly!
