Summary of the first geography preparation group


During the semester, I worked as a geography teaching teacher for six classes, and served as the head of the first geography preparation team. The task was arduous. Under the cooperation with the geography teachers , the duties were clearly defined, the work was down-to-earth, and the various teaching activities were well organized. The specific work of one semester is summarized as follows:

1. Actively participate in curriculum reform, strengthen theoretical study, and promote conceptual change

According to the unified arrangement of the school, I actively discussed the curriculum reform with other teachers in the preparation group. In the first and second grades, I implemented the curriculum reform mode, trying to be as refined and rigorous as possible, and guiding students to participate actively in learning.

Second, earnestly do your job and the work of the first geography team leader

In this semester, we will do a good job in the second-level geography examination, and strive to meet the standards of all students, focusing on the work of students with learning difficulties. Pay attention to laying a good foundation and training for the first-year students. main tasks as follows:

1. Study the geography curriculum standards, study the new curriculum materials of the subject curriculum standards, conduct research reflections and adjustments on some problems that arise in practice, and strive to achieve the key points and difficulties in the breakthrough curriculum reform. Diligently write teaching reflections, we must pay attention to the accumulation of teaching, and provide reference for future teaching.

2. Arrange the teaching progress and class schedule for each week, and the general method of each class to ensure the consistent teaching progress of parallel classes. Each of the teachers of the department has two open classes, which complement each other and learn from each other.

3. Do a good job in the mid-term and final-term review, explore the review teaching strategies, and guide students to review methods. Develop study habits.

4. Heuristic and creative teaching methods are used in teaching. Encourage students to think, be bold, and actively participate. In the classroom, we carefully designed various colorful "task" activities, designed various real activities, and achieved various goals to improve students' comprehensive ability through various practices.

Third, the results:

After the joint efforts of the members of the preparation team, the following achievements were achieved:

1. Most of the students mastered the basic methods of studying geography, basically changed the attitude of learning geography in the middle of the country, and fundamentally realized the importance of learning geography.

2. Many students have already become interested in learning geography, and actively communicate with teachers and actively answer questions raised by teachers.

Fourth, existing problems and solutions

There are major problems:

1. The student base is weak, and a few students do not have good study habits and have insufficient understanding of the importance of learning.

2. It is difficult for students to apply the acquired geographical knowledge to the actual life.

3. Students have misunderstandings about how to study geography. They think that geography is all right if they go back to the exam.

4. Some students are irresponsible in their attitude towards homework: they are not willing to think, but wait for others to finish and then copy it.

solution:

1. Focus on education and publicity so that students understand the importance of learning.

2. Appropriately add some knowledge-based exercises during class to guide students in analyzing problems and knowledge transfer.

3, level-by-level teaching, separate exercises for students with learning difficulties to enhance their learning confidence.

4. Tell students how to learn geography: first understand, then remember;

5, let the students know the importance of homework - have the role of filling up the gap and consolidating knowledge.

Looking back on this upcoming semester, all the work is solid and well-organized, which makes me a little gratified; looking forward to the coming semester, the new curriculum reform is still in an immature exploration stage, but it is quite a long way to go. To correctly lead and promote the professional growth of our education and teaching skills, I should strengthen the induction, summarization and reflection of daily work.
