Under the leadership of the Chai Teacher and the Presidium of the Graduate Council, our Department of Life actively participates in the organization of activities organized by schools and colleges in accordance with the principle of service, and cooperates with other departments of the Graduate School. Together, we are committed to improving the comprehensive quality of our classmates and enriching our family's after-school life. The work of this department is now reported as follows:

At the beginning of the new semester in 2019, our department undertook the service of the 2010 graduate student basketball game. Under the careful arrangement of Minister Tang Lanhui, five of our departments have clear tasks, such as applying for funds from the hospital to purchase services, transporting them to the competition venue, collecting clothes for the athletes, and giving them warm water during the rest of the competition. Make the game go smoothly.

As a college with a strong academic atmosphere, the Graduate School will host a one-month series of lectures on the “2019 Graduate Academic Sub-forum”. The Ministry of Life is responsible for the service work and creates a good environment for the smooth progress of the lectures. Every time we give a lecture, we have to go to the site to clean up, set up tables and chairs, and check if the multimedia equipment can be used normally. Due to the length of the lecture, we prepared tea for the teacher. At the same time, in order to make the lectures receive good results, the posters carefully designed by the seminar will be posted by the Ministry.

In order to enrich the life of the majority of postgraduate students, expand the horizon of learning, and increase interest in the joy of history, the Ministry of Life organized students to visit the Qinhuang Museum on November 16, 2019. We contact the instructor, contact the museum staff, determine the date of travel and the required fees. We also want everyone to collect opinions and negotiate with the travel company about the chartered car according to the number of applicants. The Minister asked us to make arrangements for the visit to ensure the safety of the event. From small kits to divided groups, the activities are well organized. Through this work, the Ministry of Life has gradually matured.

In the comprehensive quality competition organized by the college, many activities have been designed, such as courseware competitions, lecture competitions, calligraphy competitions, etc. Our department is mainly responsible for the English speech contest sponsored by the Xuelian English Club. In order to let the students actively participate, we widely mobilize everyone to sign up. As a result of the comprehensive quality competition, after the competition, we participated in the production of promotional image results exhibition. On New Year's Day, in the welcome party organized by the college, we arranged a party meeting with the University Student Union .

In the spring, all things are revived. In order to enhance everyone's awareness of sports, the school held a postgraduate sports meeting on March 29, 2019. Our Ministry of Life is responsible for logistics, serving enthusiasts and coordinating actions with other departments. Finally, with the joint efforts of all parties, our institute has achieved good results in the third place in the group.

In this year's work, we have gained more experience and learned the traditional atmosphere of the School of History and Culture: helping each other and being brothers. Not only did we get the support and care from the leader, but we also received guidance from the seniors in various activities. Some of the seniors are more practical and harder than us. Everyone does not limit themselves to this department, and often helps each other and work together to complete. The brothers of the Department of Culture and Sports, the Department of Academic Affairs, the Propaganda Department and the Office have given us a lot of help. Thank you very much!

Although we have achieved results, there are still some shortcomings that need to be improved. For example, now is the information age, in addition to the traditional way of posting posters, we should also pay attention to the full use of network resources. In addition, in the process of carrying goods, there is a lack of special equipment, and there are occasional wastes of the PET bottles, which are areas for improvement. In the future work, we will continue to adhere to the principle of service, obey the arrangement, unite and cooperate, draw opinions, be brave in innovation, continue to provide good services for everyone, and create a harmonious and colorful graduate life.
