On the morning of March 16th, 2006, under the leadership of President Mayor, we warmed up the warm sunshine of spring and met the slight spring breeze. Following the creek of the river, we set foot on the bridge in Jiangnan and went to the Jiangnan experiment. The school began a half-day study.
We listened to President Xu Chengnan's thoughts on the effectiveness and development of moral education, and listened to President Liang Guanglie's high opinion on improving the quality of teaching and suggestions for school management. Later, President Liang also accompanied us to visit the Jiangnan library, English-only classrooms, conference rooms, playgrounds, children's entertainment areas and other places, let us open our eyes.
The Jiangnan Experimental School was founded in 2005. At that time, the National Primary School only enrolled the first-grade students of the six classes and the first-year students of the class. It was in its infancy. However, from the education and teaching concept of the principal to the layout of the campus environment, there are seven words “for the development of students”. In order to develop students healthily, the principals and teachers are as careful and meticulous as they are to care for the seedlings.
First, environmental education has no trace

For children to have fun, the children are learning to play and get along with each other. Such an initiative truly reflects the student-centered educational philosophy.
2. Creation of atmosphere The Jiangnan Experimental School has a large library, and there is an open reading room in the library, which is specially prepared for children to read. Its design is also very human, a triangular table with six small stools, children can sit around the table, reading a book here, a bit like a casual coffee in any cafe, you can leisurely, Read books easily and with pleasure. The visual signal given to us here is: the book culture of the school ------ books are like our friends, often come to see and gather.
If the library gives people a sense of intimacy, then the English classroom is another scene. Into the English-only classroom, I saw a huge foreign building, the pictures of the customs and customs decorate all the walls of the classroom, giving people a strong shock, we are like coming to the United Kingdom, the United States, strongly feel the European Local customs. Children learning English in such an environment must have a sense of realism. They communicate with teachers and classmates in English, just like talking to people on the streets of a European country. This kind of simulated scene is good for stimulating children's interest in learning English.
The factors that imply education in the design of the place can only be felt by the fine taste, and the teacher's factors influence the words and deeds of the students subtly. During the exchange, President Liang emphasized that teachers must do it when they ask students to do it. Teachers are the embodiment of culture. In the eyes of students with teacher-oriented characteristics, teachers are the most noble, the most excellent, the most sacred. Teachers are the best textbooks for students. The teacher's words and deeds will affect the students' words and deeds. Therefore, the principal creates a cultural atmosphere of “following the body” in the whole school.
In Jiangnan, as long as you have the heart to look at it, you will find that its campus environment design and cultural atmosphere create a true concern for children and a seamless education.
Second, moral education is no trace Why at the crossroads without people, no one of the 5,000 people does not violate the traffic rules? Why are citizens so insensitive to signal systems such as red and green lights? The school bell rang, why are students not ready for class? The famous President Xu Chengnan is thinking about how this status quo is produced? How to develop students' signal system sensitivity in elementary school. He believes that from the perspective of cultivating qualified citizens, citizenship must be cultivated from an early age. They have calmed down and studied the educational value of moral education. They believe that moral education is for the better development of students, so it advocates cultivating students' awareness of growth from an early age. When designing individual activities, we can start from the connotation of moral education, think deeply, let students be educated in activities, and be educated for a lifetime.
Third, the teaching quality of teaching is the lifeline of the school. President Liang Guanglie knows the importance of teaching quality. However, he does not stress the teachers, but constantly analyzes and encourages them, enhances the teachers' self-confidence, tries their best to help the teachers, and works with the teachers to study the methods and strategies of “upgrading”, such as: first-year students. The writing competition, the game requirements are fast and good. In the eyes of others, it is just an activity. In fact, the real intention of President Liang is to solve the problem of slow writing and low correct rate for first-year children. Through activities, children can achieve the purpose of correct writing and fast writing. Another example: In order to improve the quality of teaching, let the children begin to learn to write small articles, and print them out on the computer, post and display in the whole school, encourage children to write more and practice more. We can infer that the children have gone through such exercises, and when they are in the third grade, when they ask for an article, their writing standards must be at the forefront. In this way, President Liang is using the method of “smooth and silent” and “deep-flowing” to carry out the “balance” of teaching quality, which makes people realize the teaching management strategy and teaching wisdom of the principal.
The inspection time is very short, only half a day. However, the exchange of experience between President Xu and President Liang is very inspiring. We should now calm down and study the deep-seated problems of education and teaching. What do students need? What kind of talent does the society need to cultivate? How do we train talent? How to start from the students and effectively educate the students? How to improve the quality of teaching from the actual situation of the school? These are all questions we have to think about.
