Teaching and research work self-examination report Education and scientific research is an important guarantee to improve the quality of school teaching. Teaching quality is the lifeline of school teaching work. Our school has long been teaching reform as the focus of the school, and carefully organizes the teachers to study the various files issued by the Education Commission, and encourages all teachers to actively carry out research on various topics while teaching.
During the fifteenth period, our school has undertaken three provincial-level projects, seven municipal-level projects, and five district-level research projects. More than 50% of the teachers in the school participated in the research. The school boldly used young people as the subjects of the project, allowing them to give full play to their own strengths, mobilize their enthusiasm, and cultivate reserve power for the school's teaching and research. Our school has also been rated as an advanced collective of city and district education and research. The teaching and research work of our school is summarized as follows:
I. Organizational Leadership The leaders of our school attach great importance to the teaching and research work, and the leaders at the school level take the lead in the task of the project. They first learn advanced educational concepts, and raise the general plan for research projects, and guide them throughout the process. The middle school leaders are members of the research team. In addition to participating in the research of the subject, the school leaders have also developed a series of measures to promote the teaching and research work of the whole school, such as holding high-level and middle-level teaching work meetings on a regular basis; inviting experts and scholars to lecture at the school; young teachers insist on opening a research class every semester; Experienced old teachers open demonstration classes; reward award-winning papers. These measures have greatly improved the enthusiasm of the school's research, and the school has formed a strong research atmosphere.

1. Teaching and research facilities Our school has all kinds of hardware facilities. Each office has a multimedia computer that is convenient for teachers to produce courseware and watch teaching CDs. Each computer is connected to the campus broadband network, and teachers can access the information online at any time. Many teachers are now able to produce computer courseware skillfully, and the school's multimedia classroom has become an important place for teachers to start classes. The library of the school library is rich in materials. Every semester, the school organizes the heads of the teaching and research groups to go to the bookstore to purchase relevant teaching materials.
Our school has a special teaching room with 2 directors and 2 staff members. The department has two multimedia computers and office facilities.
2. Funding The school leaders fully ensured the investment in teaching and research funding, allocated a certain amount of funds to each research group, and purchased relevant books and audio-visual materials for the research group. At the same time, the school also raises research funds through various channels such as the city's teaching and research, and other departments to ensure the smooth progress of research. Our school can also pay research funding to relevant departments at a higher level in time.
3. Awards In order to encourage teachers to participate in teaching and research activities, the school has established an educational research award, which gives certain rewards to award-winning or published papers. The specific rules are as follows:

Management System Our school's educational research organization is implemented and the system is sound. Under the leadership of the principal's office, the three major departments have been in close contact, division of labor and cooperation, and established a relatively complete inspection and management system. At the beginning of each semester, the department must develop a detailed work plan around the direction of the school's development and the progress of the research. At the end of the semester, the school's teaching and research work should also be summarized, and the implementation of the self-inspection plan should be completed. The plans and summaries of each semester must be read out at the faculty meeting, so that the whole school teachers can jointly supervise. At the end of the semester, various files should be bound and archived. With the continuous improvement of school office conditions and the popularity of office automation, all materials in our school's teaching departments are also prepared to be stored in electronic form. Our school's teaching department now has its own homepage on the Nanjing Education Information Network, which collects four major parts, including the school's teaching and research, management system, the Ninth Five-Year Project and the Fifteen Questions. The routine work of the department is:

A monthly "Teaching Life" will be published in a timely manner to report on the educational research and development inside and outside the school. Third, the commitment of scientific research activities marks the school's teaching and research focus and the determination of teaching and research norms, marking the germination of the school's individualization, marking the development of teaching and research work to a new stage. Over the past 90 years, more than ten topics have been included in the school-level education reform projects, and have had a major impact in the urban area.
On the basis of the "Ninth Five-Year Plan" project, the school has hired expert guidance and formulated the "10th Five-Year" project plan based on the characteristics of its own development. The projects that have been established now have 3 provincial-level projects, 7 municipal-level projects and 5 projects. District-level topics. Each subject is invited to analyze and demonstrate before the application. During the research process, each research group held regular meetings and carefully filled out the interim report of the project. The teaching department assisted the research team in collecting and sorting out the materials. In the research, the teachers of our school group actively participated in various seminars in the urban and national areas, and brought back detailed meeting records and various texts and audio-visual materials, enriching the research content. The school also specially hired the researcher Zhao Binghong from the Municipal Education Institute as a consultant.
In all the fifteen subjects, the provincial-level project "Construction of the development of Zhou Enlai's spiritual style theme" and the city-level "High School Students' Research-based Curriculum Development" can best reflect the characteristics of our school. The school week activity is the traditional moral education content of our school. On the basis of the subject of the Ninth Five-Year School Week, we are prepared to further deepen the content of the spirit and style of Zhou Enlai, and combine the external guidance with the internalization to stimulate the students' participation in the subject. In January 2002, the teachers used the winter vacation to discuss and unify the concept and establish sub-topics and sub-project leaders. During the semester, we launched the “Strive for the Zhou Enlai Youth League Branch” activities, each class carried out the theme class meeting, and the class teacher prepared the activity plan. The school week activities are in full swing on campus. The high school student research-based learning course is the second time in our school. Based on the last successful conclusion, we simplified some survey forms and the implementation process was more reasonable. In July, we held the first grade teacher group and the class teacher's meeting in the first grade group, and put the specific implementation plan in place, so that every teacher has a good idea. From July to September, under the guidance of teachers, the students successfully carried out investigations and researched and completed the thesis, and we are currently working on the final work. All the teachers in our school are interested in participating in scientific research. The teachers have changed the mind that they only pay attention to class and do not focus on scientific research. Young teachers actively accept new ideas and explore new practices, and old teachers abandon old ideas. In the process of implementing quality education, teachers construct a classroom teaching mode based on students' independent learning. All major disciplines of our school have their own research topics, and more than 50% of the teachers in the school participate in the research. In the study, the teachers were enthusiastic and actively opened open classes and wrote papers. During the period from 1998 to 2000, our school won a total of 143 papers, including 30 national awards. In 2001, there were 40 awards for teachers' papers in our school, including 7 national awards, 2 national first prizes, 4 provincial grades, 29 municipal exams, and 1 district level.
Through the practice of education and scientific research in recent years, the teachers of our school have clearly recognized that the development of education should be promoted by scientific research, and education and scientific research is a reliable guarantee for improving the quality of teaching. The achievements of the "Ninth Five-Year Plan" are the driving force for our future work. The research on the "10th Five-Year Plan" has just started.
