Under the correct leadership and active support of the Municipal Education Commission, under the direct leadership of the Board of Directors and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, with the joint efforts of the College Leaders and all the staff and students, the College achieved gratifying results in 2004, and the College received a lot of The development of the faculty, education and teaching management, and teaching investment have made great progress. The specific reports are as follows:
I. Basic Situation of Teaching Work In May 2003, our hospital was approved by the municipal government and the Municipal Education Commission as the higher vocational colleges for enrollment within the project. After the joint efforts of the staff and staff of the whole school, the six majors recruited 404 new students and recruited freshmen in the spring. 7 people; in the fall of 2004, 12 majors recruited 905 new students. At present, the number of students in the school has reached 1,800. The college has begun to take shape, bringing vitality to the further development of the school. In order to ensure the quality of teaching, by the end of 2004, the number of full-time and full-time teachers in our school has reached 109, including 96 full-time and full-time teachers and 13 part-time teachers. The chief of staff and the dean attached great importance to the construction of the teaching staff. It is decided that from now on, according to the teaching needs, a large number of graduate students will be recruited to work as full-time teachers in our college. In 2005, the full-time teachers will reach 95c/o, and build a relatively stable, high-level and love education. Career, adapt to the teaching team of higher vocational teaching.
At present, there are 12 majors and two grades. According to the requirements of teaching plans and professional training objectives, 56 courses have been opened. Due to the large number of full-time and full-time teachers, the teaching runs well, and students’ thinking and learning are stable. There have been accidents in teaching management and student management. The teachers, students and staff of the whole school are united and harmonious, and the whole school is full of unity and upward atmosphere.
The textbook 80c/o used by all majors in our college is a textbook for higher vocational colleges in the Ministry of Education or a general textbook for higher vocational colleges in the 21st century. There is currently no self-edited textbook. Teaching management and student management have sound management practices and post responsibility systems. For example, “Student Status Management Regulations”, “Student Attendance Management Regulations”, “Examination Qualification Examination Regulations”, “Violation of Examination Table Discipline and Examination Cheating Procedures”, “Regulations on Examination Cheating”, “Student Code of Conduct”, “ The Regulations on the Management of External Teachers, the Code of Conduct for Teachers, the Provisions on Examination Propositions and Test Papers, Marks, and Assessment of Achievements, etc., are being implemented in the practice of running schools.
Second, on the teaching reform In order to do a good job in higher vocational education, the college attaches great importance to teaching reform. Beginning this fall, under the premise of ensuring the quality of teaching and the normal operation of teaching, the college will conduct a teaching reform pilot program for English majors and pre-school education and management majors. The college's teaching reform for these two majors is not only funded. A large investment, and closely combined with the teaching and training base teachers, experts, staff, adjust the teaching plan, improve the teaching methods, and achieved remarkable results, was affirmed by leaders at all levels, but also by parents and students welcome.
Third, existing problems and solutions to achieve gratifying results in education and teaching work, the college leaders also attach great importance to existing problems, three semester of teaching practice, has gained a lot of experience in higher vocational education teaching work, In general, it seems to be mainly three aspects.
1. The basic knowledge of students is uneven and the overall foundation is poor. It brings great difficulties to classroom teaching, especially the enthusiasm, lack of initiative, lack of classes and poor classroom discipline of some students, which directly affect the quality of teaching and teaching. Quality improvement. In order to overcome the above problems, the school first organized the students to carry out political and ideological education activities, and asked the chairman to do a report on “establishing a correct outlook on life and correcting the purpose of learning” and carrying out a speech contest “Why are you going to Huijia to go to university”? Etc. At the same time, strengthen the teaching management, the college requires the class teacher to attend classes, and the Academic Affairs Office checks the classroom teaching situation five times a day. On the basis of teaching reform, we will boldly improve the methods of examinations, increase the number of oral examination subjects, practice examinations and computer-based examinations, organize teachers to make up classes for students with poor foundations, etc., and take these measures to effectively improve students' enthusiasm for learning and enable students to The mood is stable and the average pass rate is 80c/o. The number of students who have joined the party has increased significantly. Now 125 people have submitted applications for membership, accounting for 11 c/o of the total number of students in the program.
2. Improve the quality of teachers and gradually adapt to higher vocational education Higher vocational teaching has its own teaching rules. The Ministry of Education clearly stipulates that higher vocational teaching practice teaching courses should reach or exceed 40%, so teachers of double-type teachers are required to reach a certain proportion. However, as of the current situation, there is a big gap between the dual-teachers. Although the teachers currently employed in our school are full-time higher education teachers or retired teachers, they have rich teaching experience and have certain accomplishments in business. However, in the teaching practice of higher vocational schools, they often emphasize theory and lack of practice and theory. The combination of some, teaching students to practice, lack of experience. In view of the above problems, the pre-school education and management majors and the English majors in our college have carried out teaching reforms. As far as possible, the classroom teaching and practical teaching are closely combined. The teachers and experts of the training base are invited to teach and have achieved good results. It is still in progress. We will continue to sum up experience and improve the quality of teachers while changing the composition of teachers.
3. Good teaching materials in the construction of teaching materials are important links and prerequisites for ensuring the quality of teaching. 80% of the textbooks newly selected in our school in the past three semesters are recommended textbooks for higher vocational colleges, but 20% of the textbooks are still selected from undergraduate or other textbooks, especially the professional basic course materials are more difficult, reflecting from teachers and students. In view of the fact that many of the higher vocational teaching materials currently selected still have a lot of areas for improvement, from the improvement of the curriculum system, it is necessary to highlight the mode of application and training of practical talents, and to train the Ministry of Education to train higher vocational colleges. The requirements are also reflected in the textbook. Therefore, we need to compile some excellent teaching materials in combination with the professional characteristics of our hospital. At present, there are quite a few gaps. We are creating conditions and striving to write our own teaching materials in a short period of time.
