Summary of the work of the community women's congress in 2019

In 2019, under the guidance of the Women's Federation of the Street, the Liubeiqiao Community Women's Congress carried out a series of work with Deng Xiaoping Theory and the "Three Represents" as the guiding ideology, combined with the reality of the community:

According to the requirements of the street, the community is under the overall responsibility of the secretary, who is in charge of women's work, and a special person is responsible for the specific operation, establish and improve various systems, and organize the community staff to learn relevant theoretical knowledge and improve the quality of the business on a weekly basis.

The community promotes relevant regulations and knowledge in various forms:

From February 1st to 6th, the women's backbone of the organization's jurisdiction will participate in the Community Voluntary Patrol Week.

On February 2nd, the Women's Congress of the Community organized women volunteers to hold a spring gardening event at Kewei Square.

On March 5th, the Community Women's Congress and the Green Hospital jointly organized a free medical examination for women in the jurisdiction.

On March 7th, the Community Women’s Congress and the Shuyu City of the Jurisdiction jointly held a large-scale dance party for the “March 8th Women’s Day”.

From May 30th to June 10th, the Women's Congress launched a fund-raising campaign for the earthquake relief work in the Wenchuan Earthquake. A total of 27,753 yuan was raised and handed over to the street.

The Women's Congress will launch a large-scale publicity campaign in front of Xintaiming, Shixin Road. The contents include: policy propaganda, distribution of contraceptives, publicity materials, and “Zhangzhou Community Hospital” for free medical examination for residents.

On June 26th, the Community Women's Congress conducted a “ban on gambling” and prevention of AIDS in its jurisdiction, distributing more than 200 promotional materials and 10 boxes of contraceptives.

On July 8th, the community presented souvenirs to women who participated in the June reading month.

Participate in the street organization to carry forward the Olympic spirit and write a new chapter speech contest for entrepreneurship and employment. Two women from the community participated and won the second prize and the third prize in the street and district respectively.

On August 5th and 28th, in order to better carry out the activities of “Children leaving school without leaving the school”, the Women’s Congress organized the primary and secondary school students in the community to participate in health knowledge lectures and environmental sanitation activities.

On September 26th, in order to celebrate the 59th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Community Women's Congress held a large-scale celebration in Kewei Square, including: song and dance performances, essays, Peking Opera, folk music performances, chorus and so on.

On October 13th and 17th, respectively, women from the district were organized to carry out activities in Zhushi Mountain Villa and Baguo City.

Third, legal rights

To do a good job of stability, the community has 5 mediation disputes this year. Among them, there are 2 women comrades who need community assistance, and the community has dealt with them in a timely manner.

Fourth, provide services:

1. The community organized 11 laid-off workers in April to conduct computer training, including 9 women, and the community provided jobs for 18 women throughout the year;

2. In June, the community also expressed condolences to two poor mothers and five poor single female households, each giving material assistance.

This year's women's work in the community has achieved certain results, but there are also some problems. In the future, community women's congresses must constantly explore new ways of working, continuously expand women's volunteer teams, and innovate thinking, pushing women's work to a new level.
