This year, I continued to be an English teacher in the second and second grade classes and classes. I will summarize my English teaching work this year from the following aspects.

First, fully understand the characteristics of the textbook and understand the characteristics of the students.

In this case, I feel that the class is more difficult. Therefore, when I teach, I try to make the abstract problem specific and boring questions interesting, and try my best to improve students' interest in learning English. For example, tell more about the cultural knowledge and life stories of the British and American families, and compile the hard-to-remember knowledge into a slogan that is easy to remember and teaches to sing a few English songs.

Second, pay attention to teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and accurately grasp the difficulty.

We all know that to understand and analyze the situation of students, targeted teaching is crucial to the success of teaching . In the design of this set of textbooks, you may often encounter such problems: in a class, there are a large number of words presented, there are sentences, chapters of understanding, there will be grammatical explanations, giving people a feeling of chaos Unordered. Some students have a feeling that "Zhang Er's monk can't figure out the mind." Therefore, when I prepare for the class, I will appropriately adapt and organize the content of the textbook according to the actual situation of the students. Each class will determine a key content. For those difficult content, I will reduce the difficulty and then gradually increase it. More acceptable.

At the same time, according to the overall quality and personality characteristics of different class students, I also adopted different strategies. The overall foundation of the class is not very good, and the ability to accept new knowledge is poor, but the classroom discipline is very good. In this class, I use traditional teaching methods to allow students to read more and give them more basic questions to consolidate what they have learned. There are more students with better class, the classroom atmosphere is active, and students like to think positively. So in this class, I took a more developed classroom form and created opportunities for students to use their English to say what they could think of. In this way, the students' listening and speaking ability is cultivated, and the students' innovative thinking ability is cultivated. Moreover, students have greatly improved their self-confidence and interest in learning through such “self-presentation”.

Third, earnestly complete all the regular teaching links, and strive to implement them.

Whether the teacher's teaching activities can achieve good results is mainly reflected in the implementation of regular teaching links. In the past year, I still insisted on preparing each lesson carefully, and I have prepared a combination of teaching materials, preparing students, and preparing supplementary materials for teaching. I always complete the teaching tasks with the fullest preparation. In the teaching activities, I adopt different teaching methods and teaching methods for different teaching contents, and strive to present students with easy-to-understand and interesting and easy to remember teaching content. And can patiently and meticulously give students a good job of counseling, and correct each assignment in detail. Insist on unit testing, timely discover and remind students who have problems, and help them catch up with the results.

Fourth, strengthen the consolidation and implementation of knowledge points and treat different students in batches.

We know that the speciality of English as a language requires the scholars to memorize, memorize and consolidate in order to master it well. Therefore, I always give the students a transcript before going to class every day. After the correction, I will send them to the students for correction. The next day I will dictate, so that the content of a unit can be finished, and the words can be written three or more times. The situation is better. I also selectively instruct students to recite some texts, passages, or ask students to copy the wonderful and practical sentences in the text to the excerpts. For some students who are not ideal for dictation, I will let them re-dictate and memorize after class.

The particularity of the English subject will also lead to the emergence of polarization, but the expansion of the poor face will seriously affect the style and style of the class. If only one uniform standard is used to ask all the students, it will make those students with poor foundations feel that they will never meet the requirements and feel the emotions, even give up the subject. Therefore, I appropriately lower certain standards for some students with poor foundations, so that they can feel the teacher's requirements through their own efforts, so as to enjoy the joy of learning, increase self-confidence, and not prematurely generate school-weariness. .

Fifth, strive to complete other aspects of the work.

While completing the teaching work, I also actively participated in teaching and research activities, and humbly asked other colleagues for the method of multimedia teaching , and initially grasped the teaching methods of downloading, making courseware and using courseware to assist teaching .
