First, strengthen the concept of renewal, innovative English teaching

The new English curriculum standards put forward new requirements for the development of English subjects. This requires us to study theories carefully, update the teaching concepts and knowledge structure, and improve our overall quality in order to meet the development requirements of the trend of the times. In teaching , we require every teacher to strive to "innovate classroom teaching design, optimize classroom teaching , mainly based on student development; innovative teaching methods, to transform teaching activities from "teaching" to "learning", truly Improve the efficiency of classroom teaching for 40 minutes; innovative teaching methods, can use modern teaching techniques.

Second, do a good job in teaching business and jointly improve the quality of business

1. Strengthen the standardization of class preparation, combine class preparation and personal preparation

Preparing lessons is the key and prerequisite for a good class. We take a combination of collective lesson preparation and personal lesson preparation. Prepare for the lesson; four uniforms. The collective lesson preparation is mainly based on the preparation groups of each grade, and the festival starts at 4 pm every Wednesday for the collective preparation time. Each time a lesson is selected by a teacher and a lecture is given to clarify the key points, difficulties, doubts, basic exercises, and teaching methods of the unit. Then, the teachers of the same grade level discussed and finally reached a consensus, and then formed a lesson plan in the form of words. Give full play to the strength of the preparation team and achieve the sharing of teaching resources.

2. Strengthen the construction of English teachers, and ask teachers to do "four more, three research, two writing and one learning"

In the work plan of the teaching and research group that started school, we asked the teachers to do “four more than three researches and two to write one lesson”. More than four: listen to the text recording or supporting English CD, read more teaching reference books, multi-directional and experienced English teachers, and write more teaching notes to learn the "English Curriculum Standards"; three research: research materials, research Teaching methods, studying students; second writing: writing experience summaries, writing teaching reflections. 3. Organize lectures

Classroom teaching is the center of school teaching and an important part of teaching and research activities. The important value of teaching and research activities is to improve the level of classroom teaching and the quality of teaching . Therefore, English classroom teaching plays an important role in teaching and research activities. A total of three intramural seminars were organized during the semester. Each English teacher can adjust the class in advance and actively participate in the lectures. After listening, they can find opinions, suggestions and opinions without any reservations about the teaching of this class.

4. Organize teachers to actively participate in school and district-level teaching and research activities

During the semester, four teachers from the English group organized the school's “Chunhua Cup” class. Under the careful preparation of the four teachers, and the teamwork of the English teaching and research group, each class of the competition presented highlights and excitement! The course reflects the teachers' homework, and it also shows the results of teaching and research leading the classroom. The classroom has a gratifying change. 4. Organize teachers to actively participate in national, provincial and municipal paper evaluations and case evaluations

Writing a thesis will help the professional development of teachers and improve the theoretical quality of teachers, so as to be better applied to practice. In this semester, the Jiangsu Provincial Education Society, the Nanjing Institute of Education, and the Qixia District Teaching and Research Section have organized paper evaluations. Some teachers in our group can Active participation, and outstanding results, many papers won awards at the national, provincial and municipal levels. Among them, Chen Qianqian's essay "Let the story enter the classroom of the Chinese and English" won the second prize of the 2019 Nanjing paper evaluation; "Using the multi-intelligence theory to optimize the teaching of the national small English" 2019 Jiangsu Province paper evaluation second prize "The "wrong" is also wonderful" was selected by the Nanjing Institute of Education to participate in the "Yangtze River Delta" paper evaluation and won the third prize; the results of the Qixia District paper evaluation and case evaluation have not yet come out. In the next semester, we will require every teacher to actively participate in papers and case selection.

Third, carry out extracurricular activities to stimulate students' interest in learning

Extracurricular activities are important teaching aids, which are conducive to increasing knowledge and broadening horizons. Purposeful and organized activities of extracurricular activities suitable for students' language proficiency and age characteristics can enable students to learn vividly, livelyly and actively, and stimulate their enthusiasm for learning and interest. According to the characteristics of students of different grades and the level of English knowledge, we organized the English word competition in the third and fourth grades, the "Times English Newspaper" award-winning knowledge contest in the twelfth section, and the English reading contest in the fifth and sixth grades. Can be fully engaged. In addition, we began to develop students' English writing ability from the third and fourth places. At present, six English compositions of students have been published in English newspapers. In the "English Speaking Contest" organized by the Central School in November, the English life drama "pocketmoney" rehearsed by our school won only the third prize, but the students performed very well and received consistent praise. Fourth, change the way students learn, the way teachers teach .

1. Strive to pay attention to the learning process and methods of students in the process of teaching and research, discover, explore, research and other cognitive activities, so that the learning process becomes more and more the process of students discovering problems, asking questions, analyzing problems, solving problems and mastering methods.

2. The new curriculum challenges traditional teaching methods and puts higher demands on our English teachers, asking us to work towards being a research-oriented teacher. Our English group actively participated in the study of the English sub-topic "Optimized English Classroom Teaching Activities" under the "Eleventh Five-Year" project "Study Case Study of Optimized Classroom Teaching Design". Each teacher is responsible for different sections, and the research results of his own section are gradually highlighting the group. In addition, we are actively planning to apply for the district-level subject of our English group. Chen Qianqian’s personal research at the municipal level “Study on the performance of the Chinese-English story in the new curriculum concept” is also being actively studied.

V. Problems:

Since our school is a provincial-level experimental country, each classroom is equipped with multimedia equipment. Multimedia and campus network have entered our classrooms. Therefore, in the plan we specified at the beginning of the school, English teachers are required to master modern teaching methods as soon as possible. Learn to make courseware by yourself, in order to create a new teaching model, stimulate students' interest in the small country, optimize the teaching process, and make students feel refreshed in English lessons. You can feel the joy of learning a second language in English class. . However, in one semester, the level of production of courseware needs to be improved, and the use rate of courseware is not very high. In the future, we should strengthen implementation in this regard. In addition, through this "Chunhua Cup" course and on-campus seminars, we found that teachers still have certain problems in grasping the teaching of a plate text. How to deal with English text teaching which is difficult for primary school students is under us. Ask questions carefully during the semester.

In short, since the beginning of the semester, foreign language teachers have paid attention to the improvement of their own quality, and have always strictly demanded themselves with high standards. They have achieved certain results in education and teaching , but there are still many shortcomings. In the next semester, every teacher in our English group will continue to work together.
