During my time as a student network administrator, I successfully completed my job and worked closely with the supervisor to carry out related work activities and perform related tasks. The results and shortcomings of the work are summarized below.

Participate in duty work on time and do your duty. During my tenure, I strictly participated in the duty work according to the duty schedule, arrived on time, not late, did not leave early, in case of special circumstances, I can explain the reasons to the supervisor in time.

Strictly abide by the duty regulations on account opening and voucher processing account management information to ensure network management order and user information security.

Be aware of the importance of management order and fairness, and strictly demand that you do not abuse the network management license to extend the time permit for others to access the Internet.

Maintain a strong sense of responsibility and service, and make every detail. Specifically, the following aspects are included.

1. When the first workbench is on duty, he can answer the call in time, politely word, and patiently explain to the user.

2. Guide the users who are going to the office to complete the repair information to facilitate the on-site maintenance work.

3. Check the repair status of the building users when they are on duty, and be able to promptly handle the network failure of the building they are responsible for, do the home maintenance work, and promptly remind the relevant network management to report the repair. In all the home maintenance work, I got the user's understanding and support for the network management work, and also received wide acclaim.

Continuously improve the technical level and service quality, and share learning results with other student network administrators.

During my tenure, I not only actively participated in network administrator training, but also played the spirit of self-learning. I learned computer and network fault solutions through Internet and library resources, improved the network failure analysis and processing level, and improved according to actual work. Some troubleshooting solutions provide some convenience for network maintenance.

Personally, there are two main aspects of the deficiencies in the work.

1. Technical capabilities are still limited and cannot perform other complex network management tasks. In other words, my current state of the art is still not up to the requirements of social network management work. However, from a career perspective, I don't have to ask for too much in this regard.

2. Communication skills need to be further improved. The user does not understand the network is understandable, and as a network administrator, it must have a good communication process with the user, and strive for the user's understanding and support of the work. I believe that continuously improving my communication standards will facilitate the rapid development of various tasks in the future.

Third, work experience and lessons

The user's fault report is not necessarily reliable.

Many users reported that “there is no problem with the Internet connection in the dormitory”, but this is not the case on the spot, resulting in waste of manpower. There are three reasons for this kind of situation: First, the user does not exchange the connection test, and directly refers to the problem of “restriction of the connection to the ground” as the “connection problem”; the second is that the user directly comes to the office for repair. Registration, but can not remember the specific characteristics of the network anomaly, according to the failure description of the registration user in the past; third, some users are impatient with the network administrator's inquiry, not good communication, but as a network management may I hope that I can free up time to deal with other repair problems as soon as possible and register as soon as possible. Fourth, the network administrator on duty may not be able to do the warranty registration guidance work. Work suggestion: Student network management must be proficient in all common faults and their solutions; for the phenomenon that the repairing user can't remember the fault prompt or fault feature, firstly, the user log can be queried through the "log query" under "Log Management". Secondly, we must learn to do the guidance of the guidance instead of the self-examination of the self-examination; once again, we must have a certain patience and avoid giving problems that may be dealt with immediately to the on-site maintenance.

Pay attention to the security of network equipment, and get the switch room key with the work permit.

Although I already know some dormitories, I know that I am a network administrator, but I think the work permit is the only sign that represents my network administrator. In order to protect the safety of school network equipment, we must clearly define the rules for the use of the computer room keys. It is also possible to avoid unnecessary disputes by obtaining the key of the switch house with the work permit. Although I am a good person, the system should not believe in good people. Even if there is a management loophole that may occur in one in 100,000, you can block it. Therefore, I told the dormitory administrator that no network administrator is collateral, and no student can pick up the key of the switch room.

Learn with an empty cup mentality.

During my time as a student network administrator, I always work, learn, exercise, and master more network troubleshooting techniques in various ways, constantly improving my skills to a new level. I am never proud of myself. At the beginning of the job, I noticed that this is an excellent opportunity to exercise communication skills. Therefore, when I am on duty, I always try to sit on the busy desk and answer the phone.


Do things with the right attitude.

There is a saying that makes sense: "Being a person, doing things, doing details." No matter how big or small, you can see a person's attitude of being a man and doing things. I have summarized that I have encountered many unfamiliar problems since I participated in the network management work. However, I can always say that I have done my job responsibility and always try to do a good job of what I can notice.

Fourth, the development plan

According to the network information department's annual renewal plan and the personal graduation schedule, I will not be a student network administrator from October 2019.
