The format and writing skills of college students' graduation thesis

I recently wrote a thesis and encountered many questions in the format. However, because the format prescribed by the school is not specific, it took a lot of time to figure out how the format should be made. I am going to write the format I want to write into an article. I hope that people who have questions with me will be able to get rid of the troubles of the paper format and make your paper writing a lot faster.

First, the title and body format

The general papers are divided into first-level headings, second-level headings, and third-level headings. The first-level title is also the name of the chapter. For example, "Chapter 1 Introduction", the first-level title is bolded and centered with the number 3 black body, and the upper and lower sides are empty. The second-level headings are, for example, “1.1 Research Background and Significance”, and the second-level headings are left and left with a small black body. The third-level title is, for example, "1.1.1 Research Background", and the third-level title is left to the left with the fourth black body. In addition, the chapter must be changed when the chapter is changed. The text is a small four-song body, and the line spacing is a fixed value of 20 pounds. The reference content is No. 5 Song. The title and content of the figure and table are in the fifth song, and the table uses a three-line table. The following will introduce how to make a three-line table.

Second, the header

This undergraduate and graduate student is a bit different. Graduate students' words are divided into odd and even pages. For example, in the "Chapter 1 Introduction", the odd page writes "Chapter 1 Introduction", and the even page writes "Some University Master's Thesis". Undergraduate students do not divide the odd and even pages, and write "the bachelor's degree thesis of a certain university" in the body part. The font used for the header is No. 5 Song and is centered.

On the next page, I will talk about how the graduate thesis writes different content on the parity page. For example, in the "Chapter 1 Introduction", first in the last line of the previous page of the "Chapter 1 Introduction", click "Insert" - "Separate Settings", select in the "section break type" item. "Next page." Then click on "View" - "Header and Footer", find the "Page Setup" tag in the toolbar that pops up, and tick the "Different Pages" option on the "Layout" tab. Then you can enter different texts on odd and even pages, respectively. Undergraduates are much simpler, and undergraduates do not have to tick the "parity page difference" item.

For postgraduate thesis, remember to set the separation setting in the first chapter. It is also necessary to pay special attention to the fact that the "link to the previous section" mark is not selected. Otherwise, different chapters cannot be written differently. The content, because "link to the previous section" is selected, it means that you enter a new header, the front header will also become the same header.

Third, the page number

This is divided into summary and catalog and body parts. The abstract and the catalogue use i, ii, etc., while the body part uses 1, 2, etc. After setting the header, for example, "Chapter 1 Introduction" has already set the header. On the first page of the "Chapter 1 Introduction", click "Insert" - "Page Number". In the alignment mode, select " Centering, check the "Home page display page number", click "Format", select "1, 2, 3..." in "Number Format", and select "Start Page Number" in the "Page Numbering" option. Select the box and enter the page number 1. In the chapters of Chapter 2, Chapter 3, etc., select the "Continue the previous section" radio button in the "Page Numbering" option. If the font size of the page number is used, the word default can be used.

There is no need to set the page number in the cover of the paper, the task book and the graduation thesis.

Fourth, the production of catalogue

The catalog is very simple to make, first click on "Tools" - "Custom", in the "Toolbars" tab, select "Outline" and click "Close". Then in the pop-up "toolbar", set the first-level title to "level 1", the "second-level title" to "level 2", and the "three-level title" to "level 3". Set the non-title to "Body Text", first set it to "Song", then set it to "timesnewroman" and set the font size to "Small Four". Then select the words "directory" and the contents of the directory, right click on "paragraph", and set the line spacing to a fixed value of 20 points in "line spacing".

V. References

For reference, the first is to write [*], the * symbol represents the serial number, for example, [1], [2]. Because only three of my papers are used: journals, dissertations, and books. So what I said below are also these three.

such as:

[2] Leng Xuefeng. Making multimedia courseware with authorware and flash [j]. China Modern Education Equipment, XX,: 27-44

[3] Shi Shi, Le Wenxing. Multimedia Technology [m]. Beijing: People's Communications Publishing House, XX: 3-6

[4] Ni Ying. Digital electronic technology based multimedia cai courseware design and production [d]. Yanshan University master's thesis. XX: 3

[32] liciacalvi, pauldebra.aflexiblehypertextcoursewareonthewebbasedonadynamiclinkstructure[j].interactingwithcomputers,1998,10:143-154

[j] is a representative journal, [m] is a representative book, and [d] is a dissertation. It should be noted that the punctuation marks used in Chinese literature are the full shape of the Song Dynasty, and the period will be changed to a dot. In English, it is replaced by a half-width punctuation under the timesnewroman font.

Punctuation

The Chinese punctuation marks are in the shape of the Song, and the English and numbers are used with timesnewroman and half-width. Also explain how the full shape and the half angle are distinguished. The half angle is a "moon" and the full shape is a "sun", which can be seen in the font toolbar.

Whether it is a Chinese abstract or an English abstract, their keywords are separated by a ";" sign.

Seven, page settings

2.2cm left and right, 2.54cm above and below. The gutter is on the left.

Eight, three-line table production

The forms of the graduation thesis are all based on the three-line table, and the setting is very simple. Select the entire table, click the right mouse button, pop-up menu, select "Table AutoFormat", click "New", enter "three-line table" in the name, select "normal table" in "style based", in "format The set is used to "select the entire table", select "one and one-half pound", click the drop-down arrow on the right side of the field box, select "upper line", "lower line", click "OK", then Click "Apply". Then select the table, click the right mouse button, select "Table AutoFormat", select "Three-line Table" in the table style, click "Modify", select "Headline" in "Format Set", and then select "Two Points" One pound", click the drop-down arrow on the right side of the field box, select "Bottom line", click "OK", and then click "Apply".

The header of the form, such as Table 1-1, must be placed above the table and centered. This is not the same as the picture. The picture is placed under the picture with the picture name such as Figure 1-1.

Nine, the writing sequence of the paper

In turn, the cover, the task book, the graduation thesis comment, the abstract, the abstract, the catalog, the first chapter, the second chapter... the nth chapter, the reference, the acknowledgment.

X. Print

The printed cover of the undergraduate student is printed on one side with an orange cover. Graduate students use a blue cover and print on both sides.

These formats are based on my own experience. Some schools may have different requirements. If your school's requirements are different, try to set the graduation thesis format according to your school's requirements.
