Standard format reference for English papers


The English paper format is based on the standard format published by the American Society of Civil Engineers Press.

The English papers are printed with a laser printer, and the printed manuscripts are black and white, and the color prints will affect the publishing effect. Version: a4 paper, the top and bottom margins are 3.5 cm, and the left and right margins are 3.25 mm. The content of the paper should not exceed 14.5cm and the length should not exceed 22.5cm.

Font and font size: text, title, author contact information and text in the chart are times new roman 12 words. It can be used in bold and italic in the same font as needed.

Line spacing: single line spacing.

Page number: The page text is added to the text of the paper and the examples in the text. The page number is Arabic and is centered at the bottom of the page.

Style: The article should be grammatically correct and technically accurate. The title should summarize the content of the article in the most concise language. If the title is longer, please use the form title: subtitle.

Mathematical formula: The mathematical formula in the text must not be handwritten and must be printed. If the formula is quoted multiple times in the text, it should be numbered. There should be a blank line between the formula and the formula. Unit: The unit of measurement and measurement used in the text shall be an international unit. chart:

Title description and legend: The inserted charts should be numbered in order of appearance. The description and title of the figure, including the number of the figure, should be located below the figure. The description and title of the table, including the serial number of the table, should be above the table.

Location: The graph can be inserted into the body or placed at the end of the article. If you insert a picture in the body, try to place it at the top or the end of the page. Do not choose the alignment of the text wrapping graphics, you can choose the top and bottom wrapping.

Shading: Do not choose to have shadows or shading in the illustration, otherwise it will affect the printing effect.

Photo: If you need to attach a photo to the text, attach a black and white glossy photo to the place where the photo appears in the text. The title description is located below the photo. The photo will be printed with the text, please do not provide color photos, so as not to affect the printing effect.

Scanned image: The scanned image after printing is not as clear as the original. If there is a scan in the text, please provide a gray color scan.

Author contact information: Please separate the horizontal line and the text. Contact information may be for one author or all authors, including the following: full name of the author; affiliated society; academic or honor awarded; unit; mailing address and e-mail; telephone and fax.

References: All references are single-spaced, placed at the end of the article, in alphabetical order by first author's last name. If there are more than two documents of the same author, they are arranged according to the publication year. When citing references in the text, the author and the age of publication should be placed in brackets. Since the superscript will become smaller after being printed, it is difficult to identify, and the superscript is not used in the text. The listed references should be quoted in the body. If there is no reference in the text, please include the literature in the additional information section at the end of the article, or the relevant material section.
