In recent years, the collection of cultural relics in our county has also increased significantly. The number of artifacts has increased from the original dozens to more than 2,000, the number of calligraphy and painting has increased from more than 100 to more than 1,000, and there are more than 6,000 ancient books. More than 80 kinds of spectrum, as well as a large number of inscriptions, epitaphs, handicrafts and revolutionary cultural relics, etc., laid a good foundation for the establishment of museums, display of local history and folk culture, and the development of patriotism and revolutionary tradition education.
For the protection of underground cultural relics, the cultural relics management department has consistently adhered to the principle of “protection first, rescue first”. In the current situation of shortage of funds and no museums and special warehouses, we will do our best to protect the original in situ in the ancient tombs, ancient ruins, ancient kiln sites, etc., and wait until the time is ripe to report the wholesale excavation and conduct scientific research. As for all kinds of underground sites exposed in infrastructure, as long as they get information, they actively organize personnel to carry out rescue investigations and discoveries, and never miss them. In recent years, successive rescue investigations have unearthed Wanjiashan tombs, Huangtuling tombs, He Poling tombs, Xiangshan Sanzhong ancient tombs, Daxi Jiangcun Song Dynasty tombs, Huanggoushan Song Dynasty porcelain kiln remnants, Huayuan Island ancient remains, etc. We did our best to protect the Tashan site in the east extension of Tashan Road, so that a number of underground objects facing bad luck were rescued.
Over the years, our county has raised millions of yuan through various means such as financial appropriation, subsidies from higher-level cultural relics departments and spontaneous fund-raising donations. According to the different conditions of various cultural protection units, the prefectures of Shipu Chenghuang Temple and Da Xu Yinfu have been completely or partially renovated. Dancheng Stone House, Dancheng Jiangmao Temple, Dongmen Island Lighthouse, Dongmen Island Tianhou Palace, Wangjiatun Martyrs Tomb, Chen Hanzhang's Tomb, Juxi Street Heart Play Pavilion and other more than ten provincial and county-level cultural protection units and important cultural relics. Cause Analysis
1. Insufficient understanding of the value of cultural relics. For a long time, some leaders and relevant departments have taken cultural relics protection as a burden, and as an obstacle to economic construction and urban modernization, they often measure the value of cultural relics from the immediate economic interests. Some people in the protection of ancient buildings think that this is detrimental to the image of urban construction. In actual work, cultural relics protection is often treated as a dismantling, or it is necessary to calculate the economic account in front of it, how much it costs to protect cultural relics, and how much money can be earned by developing after demolition. It is not fully recognized that cultural relics are the precious spiritual wealth left by our ancestors, and they are the historical and cultural deposits that have been formed for thousands of years. It is not only a good material for us to carry out education on patriotism and revolutionary tradition, but also cultural resources can directly or indirectly serve the economic construction of our county, and it is a valuable treasure that cannot be regenerated in modernization.
2. Lack of awareness of cultural relics protection. Judging from the situation in our county, the whole society generally lacks the awareness of cultural relics protection. Some local leaders and cadres do not attach importance to the protection of cultural relics, and there is a serious lack of awareness of cultural relics protection. 4. The protection of the cultural relics department is relatively weak.
