Regarding the maintenance of the legitimate rights and interests of female employees and special interests

Research report

The district education system has 4,033 faculty members, including 2,318 female teachers, accounting for 57.48% of the total number of faculty members. According to the “Notice of the Regional Federation of Trade Unions on Carrying out the “Investigation Activities on Enterprise Workers’ Maternity Insurance and Safeguarding the Legal Rights and Interests of Women Workers and Special Interests”, the district education unions directly affiliated to the education system through the issuance of questionnaires and symposiums. The unit, China Small, and Kindergarten conducted a survey on “Teaching Workers’ Maternity Insurance and Safeguarding the Legal Rights and Interests of Female Employees”. The report is as follows:

1. Maintaining the legitimate rights and interests of faculty and staff, doing good deeds and doing practical things for female faculty and staff

The first is to strengthen publicity and form a good atmosphere to support the development of female teachers and staff. The District Education Bureau and the party organizations of the schools follow the Law on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests, using various forms to promote the Marxist view of women and men, and to improve the political status of women faculty and staff; to publicize the typical deeds of advanced female workers in education and teaching. In the education sector and the whole society, a good atmosphere of respecting women workers, caring for women workers, and supporting the development of women's career has been formed.

The second is to implement the political treatment of female teachers. In the selection and appointment of women cadres, organizational development, job title evaluation, training and education, evaluation of the first tree, housing allocation and remuneration, etc., gender equality and equal pay for equal work have been achieved. It has created a good internal and external environment for women to show their talents and wisdom, and has enabled many female faculty and staff to participate in the political life of the country and played an important role in participating in the administration of state affairs. In 2002 alone, one female comrade in the education system was elected as a representative of the provincial people's congress, two female comrades were elected as representatives of the district people's congress; five female comrades were elected as members of the district CPPCC; and six female comrades were elected as district party representatives. At present, there are 137 leading cadres at the school level in the education system, including 28 female-level leading cadres, accounting for 21% of the total number of leading cadres at the school level.

The third is to improve the ideological business of female teachers and staff. The women's organizations in the education system of the whole district have carried out a series of "teachers' professional ethics training activities" and a double civilization competition. Through a series of activities such as striving for the construction of a model post and striving for a post star, the female faculty and staff are encouraged to stand on the job, be brave in dedication, and create new achievements. So far, 182 female teachers have participated in self-study exams, 1936 female teachers have participated in teacher basic training, 1,400 female teachers have participated in computer training, and 110 female teachers have participated in key teacher training. Among the faculty and staff training activities organized by the schools, there were 84 training programs and 2,507 participating teachers, including 1,304 female teachers. In 2002 alone, two lesbians were rated as city-level teachers; five comrades were rated as top ten teachers in the district. In the municipal education bureau's special supervision and evaluation of urban middle school and small and medium-sized education and teaching behaviors, the youth road of our district won the first prize, and the president, Teng Xinyun, received the city education bureau's reward of 6,000 yuan, becoming the only city in the city to receive this award. Female principal. Four lesbians in our district were rated as “Top Ten Classes” in Weifang City; four lesbians were rated as “Top Ten Teachers” in the urban area. 39 teachers in our district were rated as “excellent teachers” in the urban area. Of these, 37 are female teachers, accounting for 95% of the total number of outstanding teachers.

Second, in-depth implementation of the Women's Development Program, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of women and children in accordance with the law

The first is to increase women's awareness of using legal weapons to protect their rights and interests. All units carefully organized female faculty and staff to study the "two programs", and studied the "Laws on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests" and the "New Marriage Law" and other relevant laws and regulations, so that everyone can understand and abide by the law and learn to protect themselves with legal weapons.

The second is to conscientiously implement the "five-phase protection" system for women. The marriage leave and maternity leave of female faculty members in the education system of the whole district strictly enforce the rest time prescribed by the superiors, the maternity leave is 5 months, the late leave is 150 days, and the maternity is 100%. During the medical, pregnancy, childbirth, and lactation periods, the competition contract is not terminated, and the labor contract is not terminated. The labor contract period is automatically extended until the medical, pregnancy, childbirth, and lactation periods. Female teachers arrange easy work during pregnancy, and arrange feeding time for female faculty members with children. Female teachers over 50 can go late and go half an hour a day.

The third is the organization of the Women and Children's Outline Awareness Month. Strengthen the "two-level" propaganda. It is determined that March and June will be the month for the promotion of women and children. All units will take various forms to carry out propaganda work and strengthen the atmosphere of the whole society concerned about women's work.

3. Caring for the physical and mental health of female teachers and staff, enriching the amateur cultural life of female teachers and staff

First, care about the happiness of female faculty and staff. This year, the region has further popularized the "beauty in the family" activities. The female faculty and staff of the district actively responded to the requirements of the higher authorities, carried out activities according to local conditions, paid attention to the construction of family virtues, and promoted the continuous improvement of the family environment and the continuous improvement of the quality of family life. Trade union organizations at all levels actively carried out poverty alleviation activities and adopted various forms to help female teachers and workers who have difficulties in family life to tide over the difficulties.

The second is to care about the physical and mental health of female teachers. The education system has no physical labor, toxic places, and other labor that is contraindicated during lactation. All units insisted on organizing gynecological examinations twice a year and found problems in time for treatment. Female faculty and staff during the menstrual period, the unit does not arrange manual labor. Female workers who have been pregnant for more than seven months are not arranged to work in night shifts. Prenatal examination is counted as labor time.

The third is to enrich the amateur cultural life of female employees. Educational trade unions at all levels regularly hold cultural and sports activities such as the women’s “Taiwan Eighth” tug-of-war competition, volleyball competitions, and calligraphy and painting exhibitions. During the event, the mutual understanding between female employees was enhanced, the relationship between the cadres and the masses was harmonized, the cohesiveness and centripetal force were enhanced, and the physical and mental health of female teachers was improved. In 2002, the Women's Work Committee of the District Education Bureau was awarded the title of Advanced Unit for Women's Work in the District by the District Women's Federation.
