School visit investigation report
Member: Song Xiaojing
I am in charge of visiting Luotian County Yizhong and Sanlitun High School.
Early in the morning of July 15, we got up early. After eating breakfast, we took a car for more than half an hour, breathing fresh, cool air and came to Luotian County.
We got off the bus in the center of the county center and made a simple break there. The key is to wait for someone. She is a guide and assistant that Wang Zhiping invited us. It is called Xiao Pan. I just graduated from the county one this year. This may be helpful for our visit investigation. When Xiao Pan came, we made a introduction to each other and then followed her.
Luotian County Yizhong is not very far from the center square of the county. It takes about ten minutes to arrive. We were lucky. When we reached the door of the door, we met a teacher who had taught Xiao Pan before. After we explained it to him, he expressed his warm welcome and support for our activities, and immediately Call us to contact the school. Then he told us that there will be a teacher with a "Yellow" surname to receive us, but I have to wait, because Mr. Huang is working outside, and will come over later. And he has something now, can't receive us, so after we thanked him, I went to school.
The school is undergoing repairs. It is necessary to push the original school gate and a teaching to a new one, so it looks a bit messy. However, when I enter the school, I feel that the whole person feels okay, but the classroom is small and a classroom is crowded. It is not easy to get in 60 students.
After waiting for a while, Teacher Huang came. We explained his plan to him. He immediately arranged for us. When we had a break between classes, we divided the two groups according to the plan, went to two classes, briefly explained our questionnaire, and then quickly distributed the questionnaire. After the students have finished filling out, they will be taken back immediately. So before class, we finished all the questionnaire recycling work, and after the inventory was finished, we went to the office of the teacher of the second grade group. One is to express gratitude, and the other is to talk to the teachers by the way, do our first. The second part of the interview work.
We asked the teachers a few questions and asked them to talk about some of their own opinions about the subject of our investigation. During the break, we were fortunate enough to meet the principal, but because the principal had a class in the next section, I was unable to interview. After the interview was completed, we left the county.
In the afternoon, we went to Sanlitun High School. Unlike the morning, there was no Xiaopan as a guide in the afternoon, so our team shouldered the heavy responsibility under the harsh conditions of unfamiliar life!
At one o'clock in the afternoon, after a meal, I took a break and we went to the station with the hot sun. About 40 minutes by car, we came to Sanlitun Town. The location of Sanlitun High School is a bit biased. We went down the road and walked for about 6 or 7 minutes along the small alleys of the intestines before we saw the gate of Sanlitun High School. Now look at the next time, almost 2 o'clock. The door to the school is locked. We walked from the side door and explained the intention to the guard. The guardian told us that the school is now a lunch break, and the lunch break at 2:30, we can go in now, but nothing can be done. This message is a blow to people. We thought that we could go back to rest soon after we finished it, but now it seems that our beautiful plan is a ruin. Still advanced to find a cool place to rest.
Entering the school gate of Sanlitun High School, I found that the campus is not very spacious, the road is very narrow, there are dormitory buildings on both sides, there is a big tree in front, and there is a stone table stone chair under the tree. We decided to take a break there. It’s hard to get to 2:30, and we will continue to go inside. The result was startled, and it turned out to be quite open. The school was built on the hill. We walked over the long steps to a wide playground, and the school building was in front of the playground. We entered the teaching building and came to the school league committee. There was a teacher inside. We came up with a letter of introduction. The teacher asked us to go to the next office to find the principal, so we came to the next door. In the Academic Affairs Office, the principal warmly received us, greeted us to sit down and personally pour water on us. Because he had a class in the first quarter and could not receive us, he immediately called the director of the Political and Education Department and asked him to receive us. We probably waited five or six minutes, and Director Yang came over. Basically, like the morning, we told our director Yang about our plan, and then he arranged two classes for us. We rushed the questionnaire before the class, and after the students filled out, we immediately Retracted, looked at the time, and all the questionnaires were recovered before the class, just had time.
After withdrawing the questionnaire, our original plan was to interview the teachers of the second grade group, but Director Yang told us that all the teachers who did not attend the class went to the village to enroll students, so we had to change the plan and switch to interviewing Director Yang. . We asked Director Yang a few questions and asked him to talk about some of the opinions on the subject of our investigation, just like we did in the interview in the county. Finally, we asked Director Yang to take a group photo with us.
Our photo with Director Yang
When we left, we did not forget to take a group photo at the entrance of Sanlitun High School as a souvenir.
The experience we interviewed is like this. Although we can see from the photos that the sun is very big that day, we are carrying the sun, and we are still visiting the investigation by car without any people leading the way. The hard work is self-evident. But the results we obtained were fruitful enough to soothe our hard work.
The results of the questionnaire survey are analyzed. I will now focus on the summary of interviews with teachers.
The theme of our survey is “The impact of parents going out to work and growing up on adolescents”. The main target of our questionnaire survey is the students in the second year of high school. Although the results of the questionnaire are not counted, according to the observations I received during the survey, a considerable number of students' parents were working outside. Moreover, the information we got from the teacher also proved my guess. "Ten five or six", "about 40% to 50%", this is the original words we got.
Parents go out to work, which is a relatively common social problem in Luotian County. Whose parents don’t want to stay with their children and watch their children grow up day by day? But there is no way, in order to make the children live a better life, in order to pay tuition! Parents have no choice but to embark on a train to a foreign land and embark on the road of going out to work. But where do they know that compared to the hundreds of dollars that are sent back every month, all the children need is to stand in front of their parents and scream "Dad" and "Mom" instead of cold and frozen. Telephone tube. According to my rough statistics, parents have gone out for two years, and many of them have stepped out of their homes when they are in the first and second grades. In other words, these children were basically spent in childhood without parental care. From the perspective of pedagogy, the psychological development of such children is more or less unsound. This is confirmed by the teacher's feedback. As far as the feelings of several teachers are concerned, the children whose parents go out to work are more or less affected in their study and life. In the teacher's own words, there are some "unsociable, disobedient, difficult to manage, enthusiasm for learning, bad temper, easy to get angry" and so on. Not everyone has all of the above, but more or less have one or two points. However, there are exceptions. There is a classmate who, although his parents are working outside, still have good academic performance. But after all, this is only a very small number, and most of them need attention.
In order to emphasize this issue, the teachers gave us two examples. There is a Wang XX classmate, parents work outside, and live with Agong. Parents are afraid that he will suffer here, and he will send him some money from time to time, but he has more money in his hands and he is not obedient. Ah Gong’s age is so old that he can’t control it, he can only watch him fall. This is a typical example. There is another classmate who was very good at the time of the middle school. However, after going to high school, the competition for learning became fierce. He gradually became uncomfortable. The teacher talked to him a few times, but he could not replace the love of his parents. I can only watch a good seedling ruined. He is quite lonely now. He never said a word to his classmates at school. His temper is very bad. He is angry when he is not moving. The teacher can't help him. He can only watch him go on like this.
These are some very typical examples, and they happen to us. Our teacher is still quite responsible. As an example above, the teacher found out what problems the classmates had and immediately talked to the classmates. However, the growth of the soul lacks the moisture of the family, and nothing can make up for it. Moreover, a teacher wants to bring so many students, and he is not likely to pay attention to every student. Only one can be found and one should be remedied. The main thing is that students should take the initiative to talk to the teacher, but as mentioned earlier, like this kind of students, the desire to communicate with others is not strong, so even if they have any psychological problems, they are buried in their hearts, over time, psychological Small problems become big problems of personality.
Parents who go out to work are usually taken care of by relatives, but they are also far away from home. They usually do not go home and live in school on weekends. Does the school have some special treatment for this kind of student? For example, what is the school leader's visit to the festival? We also raised such questions to the teachers. "Well, there is nothing on the whole." The teacher told us. "The school conditions are limited. Engaging in education is originally funded by the state. There is no such condition in a county-level middle school like us." This is also true. In the school, as long as it is not a student at the local level, basically It is a school, and the proportion of such students is about half. It is impossible for schools to take care of them.
"So, since students live on campus for a long time, do their relatives visit them from time to time, or parents in the field call to ask about their children? Does the school take any measures to contact parents and report to them? What about children at school?"
"My relatives, there may be, but they come less often. Parents call very few, and occasionally some are only after the exam, usually do not play. The school did not take the initiative to contact, the children of the local Parents sometimes come to the school to find out about the situation, and there are very few other towns. In the relatives' homes, it is useless to contact relatives, or it doesn't matter, or it can't be managed. After all, it is not a biological parent. Parents who work in the field are difficult to contact, so the school has not taken corresponding measures."
“Does the school usually have a parent meeting?”
"No, the school basically does not open the parent meeting. Just after the exam is over, talk to the classmates in the class, because it is not convenient for the parents of the children who are not in the place to go, the school will not open."
"That is to say, the situation of students in school, in addition to the parents in the local area may know a little more, other towns know less. And parents go out to work, basically no one has come to understand."
"Basically this is the case."
Parents are not around, and they usually don't care about their children's growth. The most concerned about them is just the child's economic problems. But what the child wants is not money. The teacher told us an example. Once he talked to a classmate and talked about this problem. The classmate said that his parents didn't care about him. Besides giving him money, he never asked him. The teacher said to him, "Parents give you money and care. You, he only gives you money, why not use it for others? You have to think about what is the reason for this!" From this example we can see the extent to which the child needs care for the parents, a question of concern, better than Give him more money. And the lack of feelings, but also more money can not buy!
To sum up the results of our school visit survey, it is generally the following: 1. The proportion of parents who go out to work is not a minority, they are a special group worthy of our attention. 2. There are some psychological problems in this group. They feel lonely, have a bad temper, and have low enthusiasm for learning. 3. Because of the limitations of some objective conditions, society has not given enough attention to them, causing their problems to be solved and developing in a bad direction. 4. Parents who are far away from home are ignoring the child's problem. The lack of affection for the child tries to compensate with money, but for children, this is not equivalent.
The original intention of our activities was to objectively reflect a social problem. Such a vulnerable group does exist. Their rights are not guaranteed, but what they lose is their own character, their own life! Some of the comments in our report may have some subjective feelings because we feel uncomfortable for these children. In the years they grew up, they lost the most important factor in helping them grow healthily: family. But we can guarantee that the materials in our report are absolutely true. We only want to reflect some of the most objective problems with the most objective angle and the most objective. The slogan of our event is to serve the society and return to society. I think that writing this report objectively is also a way for us to return to society.
