Basic folk customs
Liuhuapo in Yawang Village is a representative village in the area. There are 103 households, all of whom are farming families with a total population of 763. Liuhua Village is a village surrounded by mountains. There is a lot of land. Most of the labor force except for some unemployed people are working outside the home. The surnames of the village include the three surnames, the surname of Pang and the surname of Du. Among them, the surname of Lu is a large surname, and the population accounts for 50% of the total population, while Du and Pang each occupy. The people here maintain the unique hard work, simplicity and enthusiasm of the peasants, the good relationship between the neighbors, and the good quality of respecting the old and loving the young can be reflected here.
Liuwangpo in Yawangcun is a typical semi-self-sufficient village. The sideline industries such as chicken, duck and pig are developed. In addition, there are many family gardens, but they are generally only supplied to their families to meet the daily needs of the family.
The population of Liuhuapo is 100% Zhuang people. It has the traditional folk customs of Zhuang, and all the festivals have a calendar. On the third day of March, every family went out to the ancestors' graves to pay homage to the undead. In addition, the dexterous family women steamed sweet rice cakes and colorful, fragrant glutinous rice. On the fifth day of the fifth day of the Dragon Boat Festival, the people of Liuhuapo have their own homes, but they will go to relatives and share the joy of a better life with their relatives. The relatives will prepare delicious and delicious dumplings for them - the "Lashio" that was eaten only during the Dragon Boat Festival. . The sixth day of June is the land festival, but unlike other festivals held every year, the land festival is held every five years. At that time, the leaders of the village organize the family to donate money and ask the Pharaoh to go to the village. The practice of land temples exorcise evil spirits and protect the happiness and well-being of the entire village. July 14 is a traditional ghost festival, and the folks will also go out to the ancestors' graves to pay homage to their ancestors. The Mid-Autumn Festival on August 15 is the biggest festival in Liuhuapo except for the Spring Festival. At that time, every household will have a feast for the guests, and the village will be happy and happy. In addition, the village’s veteran masters will go to each household in the morning. Fan, recruiting gods and driving away demons.
All the festival folks will kill the chickens and slaughter ducks, worship the gods and worship the ancestors, in order to be happy and healthy. The biggest festival in Liuhuapo is the Spring Festival. Liuhuapo has a unique New Year's custom, which is highlighted below.
In the late lunar month, the villagers began to prepare for the Spring Festival----purchase the new year's goods, clean the house... The last day of the twelfth lunar month is commonly known as the New Year's Eve, all the villagers are rushing to buy the last At the same time of the new year, it also means the relaxation at the end of the year. On this day, the children can buy what they like. The young girl guys talk about love on the street, and the elderly people will chat happily with their partners. ..... In the afternoon of New Year's Eve, every household will kill chickens and slaughter ducks, use thick chicken or ducks, first pay homage to the land temple, and then go home to pay homage to the ancestors. On the night of New Year's Eve, in addition to the reunion dinner, the folks gathered in front of the TV to watch the pure spring evening, and the whole family would also do some traditional Chinese New Year snacks, mainly with glutinous rice flour, and some with rice flour. Chicken, duck and meat are some of the dishes that are indispensable on the Chinese New Year table. At the moment of the New Year's Eve, every household will be fragrant, and the amount of fireworks and firecrackers will be magnified.
On the first day of the New Year's Day, starting from early in the morning, every household began to “make the ancestors”, that is, put on tables, chairs, meals and snacks. Click on the incense, meaning to respect the ancestors, and ask the ancestors to bless happiness and make a fortune. On the morning of the New Year's Day, Lu and Pang are only allowed to eat fast, and there is a tradition of eating rice balls in the morning of the New Year's Day. Therefore, the Lu and Liu people of Liuhuapo are used for the morning of the New Year's Day. The ancestors only have meals and various snacks. There is no limit after 12 o'clock. In the afternoon, the whole village began to kill chickens and slaughter ducks like New Year's Eve, and then "burning teeth" the last family to have a happy meal. On this day, every household has a big Spring Festival couplet, except for the old cloth. Children will be red and brown in a family, and the joy is not easy to say!
In the morning of the second day, everyone got up early and began to prepare to kill chickens and slaughter ducks. They also "burned their teeth" and "putted their ancestors". Finally, they put on rich items in bamboo baskets, and they screamed at the firecrackers, meaning to say goodbye to the ancestors who had enough to eat. This also declares that all the memorial activities have come to an end. ≤ The first model network to organize the article, the copyright belongs to the original author, the original source all ≥
However, this year has not been over, from the first day of the first month to the fifteenth day of the first month of the first month, after dinner every day, every household in Liuhuapo will be fragrant and inserted in a specific place. In the fifteenth day of the first month, Liuhuapo did not eat the custom of dumplings or Yuanxiao, but they would also “burn teeth”, “set the ancestors”, and walk relatives to celebrate the Lantern Festival in their unique way. The end of the Lantern Festival also announced that the year of Liuhuapo was over.
economic status
According to the understanding, Liu Huapo's past income is the traditional source of income, mainly the sideline income, and the sale of surplus food. The people are barely able to eat and drink, but they often fail to make ends meet and suffer hardships.
In recent years, the government has vigorously supported the development of rural economy, built roads, and introduced economic crops such as sugar cane, litchi, and melon, which made Liuhuapo's economic income source diversified. The author visited and found that the lychee garden and sugar cane land became a beautiful landscape of Liuhuapo.
It is worth mentioning that during the visit, the author found that there are white plastic greenhouses in the family gardens, and the author is puzzled by its use.
After understanding, I realized that these greenhouses were used to cultivate winter melon seedlings. It turned out that Lu Yongmou, a farmer from Liuhuapo, studied science and technology and paid attention to the market. In early 2007, he began to plant good varieties of winter melon, and made a fortune by relying on it. Therefore, Liuhuapo set off a boom in growing melon.
Refused to understand that the government has built roads to ensure the sales of sugar cane and lychee, especially the improved winter melon. The annual income of farmers has increased by 7.8 percentage points over the same period of 2006. Although the 2008 Spring Festival has been shrouded by exceptional cold weather, the villagers’ Joy has not been concealed. If I use a photo sent by the author to describe the economy of Liuhuapo, I don’t think it’s the following----"hen, chicken and motorcycle"!
When the author finished the visit, the villagers in Liuhua Village were busy collecting sugar cane and cultivating a new batch of winter melon seedlings. I believe that all aspects of Liuhuapo will have better development in 2008 and beyond!
Suggestions:
During the visit, the author discovered that rich cultural customs and gratifying changes in the new countryside, but also found some problems.
1. Nowadays, information and communication are developed, and the outside culture will have a great impact on the traditional culture of Liuhuapo. It is recommended that the local government do a good job in properly protecting the local traditional culture;
2. Strengthen medical and publicity efforts and build a civilized new countryside;
3. The introduction of new species and varieties has greatly promoted the economic development of Liuhuapo. The author suggests to take a long-term view, grasp the market dynamics, and introduce a variety of varieties with small cost and large income, so that the local economy has a new leap;
4. Strengthen the science and technology education of farmers and take a new agricultural road of science and education to promote agriculture.
