Self-examination report of "College Students' Moral Education"
Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Ideology and Morality
In accordance with the requirements of the Academic Affairs Office of the Institute, we conducted a self-examination of the course "Ideological and Moral Cultivation of College Students". The report is as follows:
I. Total self-evaluation According to the inspection items and standards, we conducted a check-up one by one. Of the 31 projects examined, 5 were unqualified, of which 2 were unqualified for the core project and 3 were unqualified for the general project. The overall evaluation is qualified.
Second, the specific conditions of each indicator
1. About the teaching team. There are 5 teachers in the course of "Ideological and Moral Cultivation of College Students", all of which are part-time teachers. The structure of the teaching staff is relatively reasonable. Title structure: 3 senior titles, accounting for 60%; 2 intermediate titles, accounting for 40%. Age structure: 1 person over 50 years old, accounting for 20%; 3 people aged 35-49, accounting for 60%; 1 person under 34 years old, accounting for 20%. Educational structure: 1 master's degree, 20%, 2% of master's degree graduates, 40%; 2 university students, 40%.
All teachers have passed pre-job training and passed the examination. The newly recruited teachers have been pre-speaking, trying to talk, and have high-ranking teachers to carry out the help.
There are 3 unqualified teachers' indicators: First, the proportion of teachers under 45 years old with graduate degree is zero, unqualified; second, there is no provincial academic leader, unqualified; third, the high-ranking title of the lecturer is only 60%, no qualified.
2. About the construction of teaching materials. We use the provincial textbook "Ideological and Moral Cultivation", the "Syllabus" that meets the requirements, and the "Study Guide for College Students" as an auxiliary textbook for this course. All indicators are qualified.
3. About teaching management. All teachers can adhere to the four basic principles, study rigorously, have a strong career, earnestly perform their duties as teachers, teach and educate people. Strict implementation of the various teaching systems of our school and the "Basic Norms of the Ministry of Humanities and Social Sciences" in all aspects of teaching, there have never been teaching errors and teaching accidents. The teaching task book, the teacher approval form, the teaching schedule, the teaching log are complete, and the teaching plan is standardized. All of the above are qualified.
In terms of examinations, we compiled the "Examination Outline", established a test bank, and combined the open-book examination with the closed-book examination. The combination of the usual grades and the test scores took the lead in the separation of teaching and examination in the Ministry of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the implementation of the collective examination. Do not make a lot of work, care, and do a lot of work, it should be qualified. However, in the analysis of the test papers, only a simple analysis was made. The standard analysis was not strictly carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Academic Affairs Office, and the inspection requirements were not met, so the item was unqualified.
4. About teaching reform. In recent years, we have done a lot of work in teaching reform. First, the implementation of "three close integrations" in the teaching content, that is, closely combined with the reality of China's socialist modernization construction; closely combined with the reality of international "political multi-level" and "economic globalization"; closely combined with the ideological reality of college students. The second is to implement the "two combinations" on the examination method, that is, the combination of the usual grades and the test scores, and the open-book exam combined with the closed-book exam. The third is to implement "two as much as possible" in the teaching method, that is, try to use multimedia teaching and try to use case teaching. These have played a good effect. Should be qualified.
5. About teaching research. In recent years, he has published nearly 20 papers and published 1 supplementary teaching material. In 2000, he was awarded the third prize of the third educational science research achievement of the Provincial Department of Education. The ongoing research projects are: 1 provincial education department project,
2 school-level projects,
2 items being declared. This item is also qualified.
6. About the quality of teaching. Students are highly satisfied with the teaching effect of the course, and the quality of classroom teaching is excellent, both of which are qualified. However, since there is no standard test paper analysis and no standard analysis report, it is unqualified that the student's test score is consistent with the normal distribution.
Third, the rectification plan
1. Because Lu Yiling, deputy director of the Department of Thought and Morality, is studying outside, some materials cannot be obtained and cannot be sorted out in time. After she returns, she must be sorted out in time.
2. Regarding the teaching team, the total strength is strong, but they are all part-time teachers, which is not good for the curriculum construction. The lack of young teachers under the age of 30 is also not conducive to the construction of teachers. I plan to enter a young full-time teacher next year. At the same time, we must pay attention to cultivating provincial leaders.
3. Regarding the analysis of test papers, from the beginning of this semester, we will strictly carry out the examination paper analysis in strict accordance with the requirements of the Academic Affairs Office, and do a good job of archiving the materials.
