In the past three years, on the basis of earnestly studying and implementing the "Implementation Opinions on the Basic Education Curriculum Reform Experiment", we have adhered to the spirit of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and conscientiously implemented all levels. The requirements put forward by the Basic Education Work Conference are centered on the spirit of advancing with the times, with the focus on quality education and innovative education as the core. Intensified efforts and comprehensive deepening and improvement have made great progress in the education and teaching of our school. And gradually formed its own characteristics. Below, we briefly summarize the work and achievements of our school in the three years of basic education curriculum reform:
I. Strengthening Organizations and Strengthening Leadership In the principle of attaching great importance to and earnestly implementing the school, the school set up a curriculum leading group led by the principal Li Guojun and the dean of the teaching director, Qi Qingrong, to lead the curriculum reform. The school also set up a subject curriculum implementation group, which is composed of the teaching and research team leaders of all grades and is responsible for the specific curriculum reform experiments. On this basis, the school has also made a clear division of labor for this work, so that the responsibilities are clear and the responsibility is to people. Effectively ensure the smooth progress of the new curriculum reform work.
The school also regularly organizes the curriculum reform leading group and the curriculum reform implementation group to conduct discussions. On the basis of full discussion, combined with the actual situation of the school, the “Suxi Town Second National Curriculum Reform Implementation Plan” was formulated. Second, increase the intensity of curriculum reform training, to promote quality in order to let all teachers deeply understand the significance of the basic education curriculum reform, understand the task, objectives and implementation strategies of the current curriculum reform in China, clearly as a teacher educator New curriculum concepts and training concepts should be established. Our school has specially formulated a training plan, which is led by the organization's curriculum reform leading group, and the curriculum reform implementation team is specifically responsible. All teachers are trained in the principle of “facing all teachers and highlighting experimental teachers”. The subject curriculum standards and subject textbooks are comprehensively studied. The school also organized teachers to study the "Basic Education Curriculum Reform Outline" and "Into the New Curriculum", "For the Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation, for the Development of Every Child".
The training process is strictly and orderly. Through the system, each training must not be absent, and it must not be late or leave early. The curriculum reform implementation team is specifically responsible for the training records, organization papers, exams, etc. And the test scores are registered. For the training and learning organized by the higher authorities, the school actively organized teachers to participate.
Each semester, the school also hires curriculum reform experts to hold special lectures at our school to retrain teachers and improve the teaching standards of teachers in a way of constant charging.
Third, formulate measures to comprehensively ensure the smooth progress of the curriculum reform In order to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of the curriculum reform work of our school, the school has established an incentive guarantee mechanism. The curriculum reform experiment work is a priority condition for selecting advanced teachers, teaching experts, and annual evaluation.
The whole process of training is taken as a process for participants to study and implement training tasks, to achieve the combination of targeted training and research-based learning, expert teaching and participation in research, theoretical study and practice reflection, and centralized training and autonomy. Learning is combined to ensure the achievement of training objectives. We must adhere to the new curriculum concept to guide the whole process of training. Use the latest information and updates from the new course throughout the training process. Advocate a variety of interactive training methods such as participatory, interactive, inquiry, and communication, in accordance with the training-practice-self-training-re-practice approach.
The school also raised funds and purchased all the learning materials and teaching materials needed for the training. The school also combines the curriculum reform work with the information technology work, and timely publishes various curriculum reform information on the website of the school, which greatly facilitates the teachers' learning.
Fourth, the two-pronged approach, the school-based teaching and research work to promote the curriculum reform work to improve the school according to the school's education and scientific research plan, a part of the key selection, and the curriculum reform work to achieve mutual promotion. Focus on the collective preparation of lessons. Establish and improve the collective lesson system, stipulate that the group leader will be led once a month by the teaching and research team leader, and the main process will be the speaker and the record. Under the leadership of the curriculum reform implementation team, the curriculum reform discipline regularly organizes activities. A “Demonstration Course for Each Person” was held in the school. The curriculum reform team regularly attends classes to learn about the progress of curriculum reform and opinions on the curriculum materials and teaching conditions, collect various aspects of information, and summarize and analyze various experimental results.
Conduct a focused study every month, focusing on new curriculum standards, curriculum plans and new textbooks, conducting special studies, learning course theory, exploring new teaching methods, and improving teachers' ability to master new courses.
In education and teaching, teachers are encouraged to break the rules and boldly innovate. Teachers are encouraged to use advanced teaching methods and modern teaching equipment. Seriously organize teachers to listen to classes, evaluate classes, participate in group preparations and other activities, and constantly update the concept of teachers. During the semester, the school put forward activities such as “one person, one quality class”, “one person, one audio-visual class”, “one person, one excellent paper”. Through these activities, not only the teachers' business standards and teaching ability have been improved, but also the educational and teaching standards of our school have advanced by leaps and bounds, and a qualitative leap has been achieved.
Fifth, increase publicity efforts, attract all efforts to promote curriculum reform work, strengthen publicity, and expand participation. Actively make a lot of propaganda to the society and parents, create a good social atmosphere for curriculum reform, guide the community to participate in the discussion of curriculum reform, listen to the parents' opinions and suggestions on the new curriculum and new textbooks, and provide reference for all aspects of the curriculum reform experiment.
A special curriculum reform correspondent was set up and submitted to the education publications and Yiwu Education website on a regular basis. Through these measures, the influence of the curriculum reform work of our school has been effectively expanded, and the smooth progress of the curriculum reform work has been comprehensively promoted.
In short, in the past three years, our school's curriculum reform work has been solid and meticulous, stable and effective, and has achieved certain results. However, the curriculum reform experiment has a long way to go, and we will work with our peers to further deepen the curriculum reform work.
