Since the beginning of the semester, I have made a series of breakthroughs with full enthusiasm, excellent knowledge of education and teaching theory, diligent work attitude, and unsatisfied with the status quo of work. Below I will review my work history from several aspects.
In terms of ideological and political aspects, I insisted on liberating a certain amount of time in the busy education and teaching work, carefully reading relevant party journals, constantly enriching my theoretical level, improving party spirit, and always strictly demanding myself as an outstanding party member. Every quarter, the Southern Monthly and Half Moon Talk became my spiritual meal, which always made me love it. In the activities organized by the school league committee to write "emancipating the mind and learning the experience", I used my knowledge and combined with the actual situation to summarize my thoughts in practice. After learning that Sichuan was seriously damaged by the earthquake, I echoed the call of the school party branch and actively donated "special party fees" to contribute a little to the disaster area.
In terms of my ability to work, I will use my strengths to avoid weaknesses and work hard to prop up a blue sky for my child's growth. At the beginning of my work, I used my writing hobbies and specialties to call on students to raise money to buy a pot of flowers and a bookcase. I encouraged them to donate books and donate magazines. In the two classes, next to the publicity column, the students’ excellent work show was opened. "Garden, create a good atmosphere for reading; motivate slogans on the front wall of the classroom; carry out "three minutes before class" activities to encourage children to develop good study habits. Under my leadership, 106 class Lu Runhong students published an article "New Sense and Heart" in the national newspaper "Chinese Language" on December 3, XX, on July 12, 2019, Huang Ying, class 105 In the municipal newspaper "Dongguan Times" published an article "under the sky of dreams." In addition, a number of literary enthusiasts such as Luo Tingting and Qi Sheng have emerged. I also won the third prize of “Excellent Instructor” for the award. With my own hard work and the cooperation of my colleagues, I have achieved certain results and won the praise of the leaders.
In assisting the school's work in the Nanhe Literary Society, I also took the time out from the busy class teacher and teaching work, and participated in the organization to invite the young writers Gan Yingxin's literature special report meeting, "Yuehui Garden" visits, Dongguan exhibition hall visits, etc. . In addition, I also courageously undertake the open class work of the Language Section. In the first year of school, I have publicly published the three sections of "Jinan Winter", "Walk" and "Green 蝈蝈". During the usual holidays, I tried to recharge, read a large number of educational publications and monographs, and recently joined the school's application team for a municipal project. Over the past year, I have been writing education blogs for a long time, mainly recording educational essays, educational narratives, etc., and I am very popular among students. It is worth mentioning that the moral education paper I wrote, "Be good at illuminating the corner that was forgotten by the sun - talking about the transformation of the undergraduates" won the third prize of the XX year of the Dongguan Municipal Education Bureau.
In the class management, I abide by the principle of “building confidence with perseverance”, often go deep into the student dormitory, understand their latest situation, deal with various contradictions and disputes in time, and help students develop good habits. In the classroom, I pursue a relaxed and humorous atmosphere, and strive to do more with less. In teaching, I pay attention to the guidance of the law, the induction and connection of knowledge points, especially the intensive training of “daily training” during the review period. The results were good; in the first semester, the average scores of the two classes in the second semester were among the best. Among them, the 105 classes that I served as the class teacher scored the second in the first class of the average class, and the average of the four subjects. Separated to the second class, the fourth pass rate, and the second best rate.
In terms of work attitude, I firmly believe that diligence can make up for the truth and reward the truth. Since the beginning of the school year, I have insisted on getting up at 6 o'clock in the evening and taking a rest at 12 o'clock. This not only ensures sufficient rest time, but also effectively uses the opportunities of morning reading and afternoon reading to educate students. Every day at 6:30 in the afternoon, I returned to my classroom to lead the students to review, and set a good example for the students to study diligently and tirelessly pursue knowledge. At the meetings held by various departments of the school, I insisted that I should not be late, not have to leave early, and have a good habit of meeting records, carefully listening and conscientiously implementing.
The so-called gold is not full of red, no one is perfect, I also deeply understand that there is no best on the road to work, only better. In my reflection on education and teaching, I analyzed the following misunderstandings in my past academic year: First, I am eager to seek success, I always hope that I will publish teaching papers overnight or take the results of weak classes. The second is that the effectiveness of the classroom still needs to be strengthened. Sometimes it is difficult to balance the relationship between the fun and the efficiency of the classroom. The third is that there is more than enough depth in the study of education and teaching, and the effective experience cannot be summed up in time. But I believe that there can be progress in reflection, and finding the source of the problem will definitely serve our progress better.
Of course, in my personal growth process, I believe this is only a starting point. The road ahead is still very long. Many winds and rains, many thorns and unknowns are waiting for me. However, I will always constrain myself with the requirement of “taking teachers as lifelong careers”, and strive to create first-class teaching achievements and obtain excellent educational achievements in the next semester and after each semester!
