Summary of the eighth grade English teaching work


This semester, I teach English teaching in two classes in the eighth grade. I will summarize the work as follows:

1. I pay more attention to regular teaching , pay attention to cultivating students' ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, make full use of morning reading time, and ask students to read the text aloud, and read the tape for 15 minutes every day;

2. Grasp the vocabulary and sentence pattern learning, often conduct dictation training to improve students' ability to remember words and sentence patterns;

3. Listen to English more and more inside and outside the classroom. Teachers should try to teach in English when they are in class, so that students can get more exposure to English. Each class takes a certain amount of time for students to use different everyday language and classroom language to conduct conversations. It is also possible to combine simple objects in pictures with real objects and pictures to cultivate students' sense of language;

4, grasp the small test, unit test clearance;

Give full play to the main role of students. When you are in class, you should do everything possible to let the students invest, not let them distract, and give full play to their main role, so that they can learn knowledge in a relaxed, happy, cooperative, and exchanged way.

Teaching experience, problems and future practices:

1. Teaching aspects:

In-depth understanding and analysis of students' situation, targeted teaching , due to the intensive training of each unit of words and phrases, so the second volume of the integration rate is higher than the first volume. Although we also conducted English reading training, the reading ability of students was not improved. The integration rate of single-choice and completed sentences is still decent, but the comprehensive knowledge will have lower integration rate for other projects in the future. In the future, training in cloze-filling, reading comprehension and comprehensive fill-in-the-blank should be strengthened.

2. Aspects of learning

As long as students are interested in learning English, they will continue to improve their English scores through constant and self-reporting, access to English and English knowledge anytime, anywhere.

If you only want to cope with the exam, you can take care of it for a while, even if you can cope with it for a while, the knowledge you have is not strong. Old and new knowledge will be lost
