Design, I think, to a large extent, is to serve people, the purpose is to make people live better. Therefore, a designer's design work should not only consider whether the work can give people aesthetic enjoyment, but also should contact people's actual life, people's psychology and behavior. Think about the commonality between things, and design works that are new and resonate with people.

I have been studying graphic design in college for two years. In the past two years, I have gained a deeper understanding of graphic design and have mastered the purpose of design, process, and typography. Proficiency in software such as PS, CorelDRAW, 3Dsmax.

However, as a college student, the theoretical knowledge learned in the school must be put into the objective reality, in order to truly become the skills that I have learned, so we have to enter the society, enter the company, in practice Use what you have learned so that you can expand your knowledge, expand your contact with society, and prepare for the future.

In the company's month, I deeply feel that as a designer, I often lack sufficient market and management experience. The works I make are often out of touch with the market economy, but as managers, I lack the concept of roots and aesthetics. There are also times, even in pursuit of market interests, too much restraint on the designer's thinking and creativity, ignoring the importance of design elements, resulting in low quality results of the design works.

Design is a discipline that requires all-round talent. Not only do you need solid art skills, but you also need to be good at understanding customer psychology. At the same time, you should also be involved in management, marketing, and literature history. These are all made up of a long-term accumulation of life and learning in peacetime. Internships help us understand what knowledge is most helpful for our design.

Improved.

4. Familiar with the company's design business process, familiar with prepress work and postpress processing.

5, skilled in the use of Photoshop, CorelDRAW and other design software.

6. Enhance the ability to communicate with others and understand the needs of customers.

Internship content: On July 7, 2019, I entered ** Advertising Co., Ltd. for a one-month internship.

The advertising company has excellent brand operation experts and senior planning and creative elites. It is a comprehensive advertisement specializing in corporate planning, brand planning, urban advertising planning system design and application, urban theme cultural system design, urban landscape and road planning and design, advertising engineering and exhibition design.

After entering the company on the first day, after a simple interview with the manager, he did not leave us with too many tasks. Instead, let us learn the types of paper in the advertisement printing and the different uses of each paper. Printing is a very important part of advertising. It is a step in turning designers' ideas and ideas into reality. Therefore, it is necessary to focus on learning.

In advertising printing, we need to pay attention to the size and image resolution of the paper that customers need, because this is the basis of all ideas. The design must be both creative and rigorous. It is necessary to see the big and small and to reflect the meticulous and creative from the big and medium. This is the first lesson that the company manager gave me.

Later, the company let us participate in the ongoing design project, let us exercise ourselves. The company gave us a task to design a logo. At the beginning, the works we designed did not meet the subjective requirements and failed to make a good plan. After the supervisor saw my plan, I asked me to further understand the nature and role of this institution, and to make a logo that is more in line with the spirit of the organization. After two days of exploration, I gradually learned some of the techniques for doing logos and the problems of attention, to contact the reality, to be atmospheric. At the same time, I also realized that because of the less chance of actually exercising in school, it is not skillful in software operation. And the understanding of the customer's requirements is not thorough enough.

After the logo project, we have also participated in several projects, which will be written later. In the company's work for a few days. I have a basic understanding of the company's design process. The first is that the designer receives the tasks assigned by the supervisor, communicates with the customer, and understands the customer's needs. Then the designer carries out the design work, sets the first draft or the model, and proposes revisions after the customer reviews. It is best to make several plans for the customer to choose. After the final review by the supervisor, the proposal is finalized and printed.

I have learned a lot of lessons that I can't learn in my work, because our creativity and design are limited to homework, but in the company, our creativity must be recognized by customers and supervisors. This is strictly many. We must try our best to make the most of our creativity, while also taking into account the requirements of our customers and the benefits of the market. To communicate more with customers, ask the supervisors for more advice and ask more colleagues.

Usually, supervisors and managers often teach us how to become a designer and how to be a person. When we come out of social practice, we must first define our own values, what we can create for others, and secondly we must understand each other and understand the needs of others. The most important thing for designers is creativity, because only innovation can make things appreciate. In addition to this, there must be a spirit of self-learning, accumulating capital in constant self-appreciation, and enhancing the charm of self-personality. If you are not arrogant, diligent and self-motivated, there is a quest for it.

These qualities are the stepping stones for designers on the road to success. Learn more to make the design work more profound and connotation. Paying attention to self-cultivation can make you good at communication and communication. Below are some of our design work during the internship and notes made during the design.

1. Designing a logo for the Southern Cultural and Creative Research Institute

The Southern Cultural and Creative Research Institute is a non-profit organization that brings ideas to the market and is an organization that can plan creative solutions in the market. The role of a bridge between creativity and the market is to build a market-oriented platform for creativity. The institute is abbreviated as CCI.

plan 1

Design idea: use the abbreviated CCI's orthomorphism to form the shape of the bulb, symbolizing the creative radiance and heat, and the blank negative shape constitutes a happy and upward shape, reflecting the advanced nature and beautiful prospects of the institute. Supervisor evaluation: The logo image is too lively and cannot reflect the seriousness of the institute.

Scenario 2

Design ideas: The South is rich in jade rings, with Yuhuan representing the South, and Xiangyun is an active and colorful creative spirit. Supervisor evaluation: Southern culture is not prominent enough and is more suitable for use as a real estate logo.

Option 3

Design Idea: Combine the geometrical image of the match with the abbreviation of CCI to represent design and creativity. Use a combination of point and line to reflect the spark of the match.

Supervisor evaluation: Although the shape can be, it is not enough atmosphere.

Option 4

Design ideas: The modification of the scheme 4, the image of the match is abandoned, the flame is changed, and the word "South" is blended to give the impression of the atmosphere. Supervisor evaluation: The structure is simple and lacks meaning.

Although the logo project of the Southern Cultural and Creative Research Institute did not enter the proposal stage, I still learned a lot in the design process. The logo must not only conform to the spiritual connotation of the organization, but also have a sense of unity in the styling and color matching. Avoid confusion, and be proficient in the use of pattern design knowledge, such as positive and negative, repetitive, specific, and heterosexual isomorphism. Respond to feedback from different customers in a timely manner. The feeling of the logo needs to be steady or dynamic, atmospheric or lively, traditional or trendy, and the designer needs to figure it out.

In addition, it is also very important to look at some well-designed logos and learn the way people think about designing logos.

2. Designing a logo for the Guangdong Provincial Health Association

Guangdong Fangsheng Association is a non-profit organization that releases wild animals and promotes ecological balance. Its philosophy is welcomed by Buddhists. The Logo requires sea, land and air and Buddhism elements, but no hard rules.

plan 1

Design Idea: Use the shape of the bergamot to combine the movements of the pigeons to visually reflect the role and spirit of the release association. Supervisor evaluation: The idea is good, but the graphics are too simple.

Scenario 2

Design Idea: Use a variety of animals to form a map of Guangdong, which means that all kinds of animals are vigorous in the fertile soil of Guangdong.

Supervisor's comment: The idea is good, but the scope of activities of the Guangdong Association for the Release of Health is not limited to Guangdong, so it is not suitable for using Guangdong map.

Option 3

Design ideas: The sea, land and air animals combine with the bergamot bipolar pattern, which means that everything in the poles is endless. Supervisor comment: The idea is very good, but the style is too popular.

Supervisor's comment: The use of ink as the keynote of the college album is elegant and steady.

Internship summary: In the end, we successfully completed the internship. This one-month internship has benefited me a lot. I have learned to examine my work from an objective perspective and become more mature in aesthetics. In the company, getting along with my colleagues, let me learn how to deal with others. Communicate with leaders and let me learn the professional ethics that designers should have. These experiences have allowed me to grow and make me more mature and smoother in my future work.

I have learned a lot of problems that were difficult to solve before, and I will face problems in design work in the future, such as pre-planning and post-production. This internship has enriched my knowledge in this area and made me move to a deeper level. It has a certain role in promoting my future in the society, but I also realize that I want to do this work alone. These days' internships are not acceptable. I also need to accumulate little by little in my usual study and work, and continue to enrich my experience. The road ahead of me is still very long, and I need constant efforts and struggle to really go well.

Not only that, but we are also very happy in the process of internship. When we encounter problems, we will help each other. When there are difficulties, everyone will solve them together. The joy of success after breaking the difficulties cannot be described in words. In fact, no matter what the final result will be, we are all successful, because everything is a process rather than a result. In the process of internship, we get the reward we deserve, then we are already a successful one. Internship, we have not wasted time in these days, we are all successful.

And recognize the art design. The relationship between activities and people, capital, and society is ready for entering the society in the future.

internship period:

June 20, 2019 - July 2019

Internship location:

**Road** Graphic Design Company

Internship Content:

After finishing the course of this semester, I started looking for a design company to go to the internship, because it is not enough to learn the theoretical knowledge in the school. This requires us to practice, enter the design company, and learn the theory and practice. Combined, this is also the purpose of our internship course. After a long time of searching, I finally found a small design company on the road.

It took a lot of effort to enter this small design company. They didn't need our students at school. After repeated requests, they agreed to let me work there.

This design company is a typical small local company with small scale and few businesses. The company mainly consists of several parts of the store design, inkjet advertising design, wall advertising, renderings processing.

The company's staff is quite small, it is stable at around 5 people, and there are only about 8 advertising services. The company's internal setting is similar to other similar companies; the boss is the general manager of the company, responsible for the overall company's overall planning and management; the business department, production department, design department, and installation department. Because the company is small, internal employees can operate flexibly. I have also been involved in the development and communication of several clients' copywriting, creativity, customer service, etc., and gained many rare opportunities for learning and training. Below is the work status of my internship diary and the design projects of the major clients involved.

When I walked into the company on the first day, after a simple interview with the manager, I did not leave too many tasks for me. Let me familiarize myself with the environment and understand the company's situation, including its size, department, and personnel division. Wait.

Fortunately, just in the design project that the company can participate in, just exercise yourself. Due to lack of experience, I couldn't find a clue at first, I don't know what to do. At the beginning, I was mainly responsible for some trivial tasks. Have not really participated in the more complete event planning. After two days of running-in, I have some shortcomings and shortcomings. When I was at school, I had less chance of actually exercising, so I can't do anything right now, and I am still not skilled enough in software operation. And the customer's request does not respond immediately.

Through the first two days of work practice, the basic understanding of the company's design process. The first is the customer's request, and then the design director according to the degree of customer needs, combined with the design characteristics of each designer, reasonable assignment tasks, try to give full play to the advantages of each designer, so that the design is to make customers as satisfied as possible. Some customers will stare at the designer to complete the design task. Often this method is basically made according to the customer's wishes. The most disliked by the designers are such customers, which can easily lead to the lack of creativity and innovation in the design. Because most of the customers still don't understand the design, they are more eager to design timeliness. Bright and bright colors are the customer's first choice, because they think it will attract more consumers' attention.

After a few days of trivial design tasks, I learned a lot of things that could not be covered in the textbook. I learned what I couldn't learn at school, learned how to communicate with customers, how to figure out the psychology of customers, exercised my communication skills, recognized the general process of design, and learned a lot of things in this short-term internship. The society has done a preliminary understanding of the exercise, which can be described as rich.

Internship feelings:

The short internship life has passed. Through this internship, I feel that I have gained something in design. This internship is mainly for the purpose of promoting our future work and business improvement, enhancing our future competitiveness and adding a cornerstone to our future foothold. From the study, I also have a deeper understanding of the personality and potential of the design industry. As one of the designers of the future, we must not only master the design theory, but also fully understand the market and understand the market. As a designer, we must constantly develop ideas to bridge the gap between designers and managers, and make design and market more integrated.

In general, during the internship, it was very hard and was greatly inspired. This has also opened a new journey for my life. After returning to school, I will definitely work harder to learn professional knowledge. Combining theory with practice, while enriching my social experience, I will make more progress towards my own life destination. One step!
