Factory internship summary

I feel very honored to have the opportunity to go to the factory for an internship this time. Although there is only one week of time, during this time, I have a sensible understanding of some ordinary theories and feel that I have benefited a lot.

?? First, the overall scale of the factory
Yatai Wood is located in Dalang Town, Dongguan. It covers an area of ​​24,600 square meters and employs more than 600 people. The manufacturing history of nearly ten years has developed into a professional-scale wood products expert, and is also well-known in the developed areas of Dongguan.
?? Into the factory area, I saw a clean and tidy environment and a well-ordered work program. Although it is a domestic manufacturer, when we go to the workshop and see the advanced assembly lines, those skilled technical standards will fully feel the modern management. As a manufacturer of wood products, problems such as the flying of wood chips, the flaws of the machine, and the smell of mixed glue and paint are inevitable, but the factory has reduced these to the minimum possible. Walking in the workshop, the serious problems faced by most of these wooden manufacturers seem to be not much trouble in our factory. Instead, those management and efficiency attract most visitors.
?? The factory has its own schedule, and will strictly abide by it. Even at the noon break, every worker will organize their own areas in an orderly manner. This kind of conscious sorting is also one of the reasons why the factory can keep clean. The factory also has its own characteristics in terms of dining. That is, from the top executive to the ordinary workers, the food is the same, without any specialization.

?? The following points are some of the knowledge I have learned during my internship at the factory, and some of the lessons I have learned.
?? Wood selection
The most commonly used wood in the factory is mahogany, maple, and walnut. Most of them are imported from abroad, which is why the price of our company is higher than the price of the same domestic manufacturer - it is "one point for one price".
?? MDF board is also one of the commonly used materials. Many products of our company can also use MDF veneer to achieve the effect of imitation wood. For some customers who want to save costs, you can recommend it.
?? These regular woods are stocked in the warehouse with a certain amount of stock, and other woods are also available, but generally recommend the use of conventional wood, which will help the processing technology, production cycle, growth costs, etc. of the factory. .
Processing
The machines used in the factory are relatively advanced. Generally speaking, the machines are automatically operated, such as CNC machine, universal circular saw, vertical shaft machine and so on. Therefore, as long as the operation is proper and the personnel arrangement is reasonable, generally higher efficiency can be generated.
Although the factory can produce most of the wooden products, in the future, in the process of communicating with customers, while trying to meet the requirements of customers, we should also consider the standpoint of the factory. For example, you can recommend some samples with the same shape, but simple and clear structure. This not only reduces costs but also increases efficiency for the plant.
?? Painting processing
After the white body is finished, it should be transferred to the painting workshop as soon as possible, otherwise the wood will be deformed. The process of painting is: coloring - primer - topcoat. There is also a sanding process in the process of spraying the primer to the topcoat.
?? Primer and NC paint and PU paint. The primer used in factories is NC paint, because the cost of PU paint is higher than that of NC, and if the PU paint is required, the required environment is relatively high, and there must be a clean room. Customers are generally recommended to use NC paint.
?? Painting processing time is generally about two days. But although it takes a long time, but the completion of an order, the factory will arrange every link in place. Therefore, when confirming the order with the customer, be sure to confirm each request. Some customers have not confirmed the paint after finishing the white body. If it is left on the side, not only the product is easily deformed, but also affects the progress of the order, which brings unnecessary trouble to the factory.
??Laser and silk screen
?? The current maximum laser size of the factory is: 320 × 320mm, the minimum is: 1.5 × 1.5mm
?? Laser can be colored, the most common is black, black, can make the laser pattern clearer. However, it is generally not recommended to color the laser after the customer, which will increase the cost. The cost of the laser is based on the complexity of the laser pattern, which is generally 1 yuan per product. Silk screen printing is also a commonly used method, but its requirement is that the silk screen surface should be smooth.
?? Laser or silk screen printing will require customers to provide pictures, preferably electronic documents.

?? Packaging is the last step before the completion of the finished product, and is also a more important part of the product. The packaging process includes simple assembly of the product, wrapping, wrapping fabric, assembly of hardware, production of packaging, quality inspection of the previous process of the product, and packaging of the product.
?? Quality is the guarantee of quality. Therefore, our factory also has strict checks on quality. Generally, there are two or three quality inspectors on a packaged line to carry out strict product inspection. From the dedusting of products, the quality inspection of hardware and glass products to the final packing, every detail will have strict operating standards for workers. . For some export customers, the products will be more picky, but the factory will meet these requirements. This is why the quality of our products is guaranteed, and there are few reasons for quality leakage on the products.
?? And the same is the domestic order, there will often be some very savvy customers, but when the product has no quality problems, but also pick some small "瑕疵". For these problems, I feel that in addition to explaining to customers, some of them are due to the problems of wood products themselves, but also let them know that our factory's control requirements for quality are up to the domestic advanced level, and many quality problems are generated. It may be collisions and barbaric transportation during transportation.
?? Of course, in order to avoid damage during transportation, in the general safe packaging, in addition to some conventional packaging, you can also use the protective dragon plate protection on the six sides of the carton.

?? Hardware is a commonly used accessory. Therefore, for some conventional hardware, such as some hinges, copper buckles, copper feet, etc., the factory will purchase a certain amount for stock.
