2019 survey internship summary
When I was very young, my parents often said to me that "there is no mistake to cut the woodwork." At that time, they thought that they had to remind me to grind the knife before going to the mountain to cut wood. I don’t understand how to understand. Of course, when I grow up, I already know the essential meaning of this sentence. When the teacher asked us to describe this internship experience in one sentence, I thought of it and realized the true meaning of this sentence!
April 20th to 26th is our one-week internship . During that week, we have to complete a questionnaire survey on the “Taizhou Coastal Industrial Belt Survey”, which is quite a week. Nervous, very busy! In fact, our work started before the 20th, especially our teachers, arranged our internships from various aspects. For example, let our classmates group independently, tell us how to design the questionnaire, and the details that should be paid attention to when conducting the questionnaire survey. These tasks are all done before. The next week and Tuesday, the group of students designed the questionnaire according to the teacher's theoretical ideas, and then gathered the wisdom of everyone as the final questionnaire. Soon, the students of our Yuhuan group came to a division within the group. The questionnaire was divided into eight modules. Each module was specially designed for the design. At the time, the task I received was the eighth module. At the beginning, When my team leader told me about this task, I felt that it was too easy. Just follow the template and search for several policies on the Internet. I did it according to my own thoughts, but when I got the sample, I was depressed. Now, why aren't there words that I am familiar with? When the teacher explained the questionnaire, I realized that we were going to investigate what was in the Taizhou coastal industry belt. A good start is half the battle, the knife has been polished, and the next will be very smooth.
Our Yuhuan group is fortunate, because of the strong support of the Yuhuan Bureau of Statistics, we are quite successful in the two-day corporate survey on Wednesday and Thursday. Of course, this is not to say that we have been smooth sailing. In the investigation, we also encountered some problems that were unexpected. In fact, during my college career, I have done a lot of part-time work in the questionnaires, formal informal, and the difficulties and setbacks that made me cry and let me laugh. Many of them are common problems that general investigators will encounter. For example, the guards are not allowed to enter, they are interrogated by the respondents, and sometimes they will be embarrassed and driven out by the eyes. A setback that an investigator must experience and suffer. Of course, we are internships in the school, do not involve any direct commercial interests, and are anonymous questionnaires. The Taizhou Municipal Committee and the Taizhou Statistics Bureau and the statistical bureaus of various districts have given us support. The knife has been sharpened sharply, and then the firewood is cut. It's much easier. But compared to my previous part-time job, the following five points are special:
First, the teacher is unfavorable, getting off the wrong place. Both my partner and I were unfamiliar with Yuhuan, and then took a map on the street, a bit like an engineer holding a drawing. Pedestrians paid attention to us, which made us hurry. We walked along the road like that. After more than an hour, we saw our first enterprise Baohui on the other side of the distance. Out of the desert, I was grateful to see a bowl of water. If you did not do the sharpening work before the geography survey, you will suffer losses here, and you will lose your job.
Second, I went to the park with my partner. When we finished the first company to find the second company, the company had already got off work. Then we went to the industrial park after we finished eating and found 12 companies on the list. This would be a different knife. It went very smoothly.
Third, the company is seen by the guard. In the two-day survey, I found that the most interesting ones were those who guarded the door. The same is the goalkeeper, but you will be treated differently when you go to different companies. For example, Hengxin is a big company. I speak Mandarin with the guard. He talks to me about Taizhou. He seems to have a disdain in his tone. Yitong is relatively small in scale, but its guards seem to be very institutionalized. He asked us who we were after we showed our identity, then he called to get the approval above and finally gave us directions.
Fourth, the attitude of the respondent determines the quality of the questionnaire, and our question and answer method also affects the validity of the questionnaire. In the dozen or so companies I have gone through, I feel that it is almost halfway to fill in the effective and effective ones, some because the time is tight, and some because they don’t understand at all. At this time, we need to give them some explanation, which involves us. The question of whether or not their communication is effective. For example, the CEO of Yitong gave us a very serious questionnaire, and he also sat down with several relevant personnel to provide him with a staff, so that the data he provided would be very effective, for the future decision of the government and enterprises. A lot of help; like Zhenpeng’s office director, he is very enthusiastic about me and my partner, and he does fill out the questionnaire seriously, but he has a self-contained theory that does not understand our questionnaire terminology. It needs us to explain, but it is only he knows if he really understands the choices he made.
Fifth, in the end, the living environment of migrant workers needs to be improved. Since this time did not go deep into the company, I didn’t know about their specific work situation. However, after visiting the park for two days, I saw that their houses and the houses were surrounded by garbage dumps. There was really an impulse to cry. I know that they have to save money to support their families. They have to go to school for their children. There should be many children among them who are going to college like us!
The post-production work is still in progress. The experience of this internship is really deep. We applied the theoretical knowledge of the teacher in the classroom to practice, but found that the theory and the reality are somewhat different. This practice in turn promotes The progress and sublimation of the theory has driven my growth.
The inspiration for sharpening the knives and giving me the firewood is that we must learn theoretical knowledge well when we are at school. Only by learning the theoretical knowledge can we better guide the practical activities and make the practice more meaningful! Let me realize that in the future life, I have to be prepared to face challenges from time to time. The opportunity will always be reserved for those who are ready.
