2019 Metalworking Intern Summary Report

This week we participated in the metalworking internship . The original internship was not what I had imagined before. Internship is not a simple matter, nor is it our holiday. It is not an easy task, but a laborious thing. . Although it is very tired, it has benefited us a lot. From the knowledge and use of tools, to the production of artifacts and judgment artifacts, we have gained a lot of knowledge.

A week, a short week, is especially valuable for us non-mechanical engineering students. Because this is an excellent opportunity to combine theory with practice, it will fully test our knowledge level, and because we have learned the knowledge necessary as a fitter, we also exercise our own hands-on ability.

It can be said that before we stepped into this internship , we were completely ignorant of the tools used in the fitter and machining and these engineering programs. In order to give us a preliminary understanding, we watched the discs about the knowledge of metalworking internships and the precautions in the metalworking internship process. From watching the disc, we got to know what is a fitter and what is machining. The fitter is based on manual operation and uses various tools to complete the machining, assembly and repair of the parts. Compared with machining, it has high labor intensity and low production efficiency, but it can complete inconvenient machining or difficult work, and the equipment is simple. Therefore, it is still an indispensable important work in mechanical manufacturing and repair work. I also understand that the main contents of the fitter are scribing, boring, boring, grinding, drilling, reaming, reaming, tapping, etc., to understand the construction, classification, selection, boring posture, boring of the boring tool. Method and quality testing.

Then, we identified three tasks for the internship : a hex nut, a screw and an assessment workpiece.

Although these tools seem easy to operate, in fact, it is not an easy task to get your hands on it. For example, at the beginning of the frustration plane, I tried to use the sickle according to the method described in the disc, but always felt that it was not directly proportional to my own contribution. Later, after the teacher's patient explanation, I realized that my posture and position were wrong. First of all, it is necessary to hold the boring tool correctly. Keeping the straight motion of the boring tool when cutting the plane is the key to boring. The boring force has two kinds of horizontal thrust and vertical pressure. Secondly, learning to use the sickle can not be urgently required to speed, you must first familiarize yourself with the knife method and the posture of frustration, slowly setback, find the feeling of balance and posture. When the file advances, the pressure on the front hand gradually decreases, and the pressure on the hand is small. When the file is pushed to the middle position, the pressure on both hands is the same. If you feel stable, you can press the knife slightly to keep the knife surface smooth. Otherwise, there is a slight The surface that is tilted down is not flat. When the boring tool is continued, the pressure of the forehand is gradually reduced and the pressure is increased. When the boring tool returns, no pressure is applied. So I followed the method taught by the teacher, and after adjusting it again and again, I finally slowly entered the state. Later, I found that it was not always possible to do exactly what the teacher said. The basic operation mastered the skills more by feeling and pondering. I also realized that it is really difficult to get started. After I am familiar with it, I maintain that posture and strength and repeat it. Despite this, I am still full of loopholes, especially in the inspection process, I can find many problems. It is not necessarily true to see, and it is necessary to confirm it with reality. What we can do is to minimize the gaps, equipment and technology, but the error is still relatively large. It was in this repetitive detection and correction that I finally learned the plane of frustration.

Some students say that the part of the line is the easiest, but in fact, the part of the line is also easy to miss, we must strictly follow the teacher's teaching methods. The first is to measure the size and draw the line on the iron block. In addition to ensuring the required size, there must be a certain amount of work allowance to facilitate the subsequent workpiece and boring. Therefore, drawing a line, this work can be sloppy, once the wrong drawing will make your parts out of size, but also listen to the teacher's notes, I said a little bigger than the size of the teacher.

If the sawing workpiece is a physical activity, then drawing a hexagon and how to keep the workpiece into a hexagon is a brainpower. We must also follow the teacher's teaching methods and operating skills to make a standard hexagonal prism. But in fact, according to the saw, it is also awkward. According to the saw, it is not always necessary to be both hands numb, and both eyes are panic. We must first adjust the direction of the kerf. According to the direction of the kerf, the force should be Hold the saw blade with the left thumb to prevent the saw blade from sliding laterally. The right hand pushes the handle firmly. The saw blade should be tilted with the workpiece by a saw angle of about 10 to 15 degrees. The saw angle is too large and the sawtooth is easy to collapse. The saw angle is too small and the sawtooth is difficult. If it is cut in, it may slip and damage the surface of the workpiece. When the saw is sawed, the reciprocating stroke of the saw bow is short, the pressure is small, and the saw blade should be perpendicular to the surface of the workpiece. At the same time, when sawing, the right hand grips the saw handle, and the left hand gently holds the front end of the bow frame. The saw bow should be linearly reciprocating, not swingable, and the pressure is evenly pushed forward, and the saw blade gently slides over the workpiece when returning. The reciprocating speed should not be too fast. The pressure and speed are reduced before the sawing starts and ends, so as not to hurt the arm and break the saw blade, and add a small amount of oil. When I first started looking at the workpiece that was severely deformed by the sawing work, keeping the workpiece into a hexagon became one of my biggest distress. Later, with the teacher's teaching and repeated adjustments, the workpiece was gradually formed.

The next step is drilling, reaming, chamfering, tapping. First, clamp the workpiece, align the center point, and slowly press the drill handle down. While drilling, you should also add water to cool from time to time to ensure that hot wire rods hurt people. It takes a minute or two to drill through, and the efficiency of hand-grinding and machine punching is more necessary to deepen the mechanization. The end face is chamfered, the file is inclined at 45 degrees, and the curved motion is used to make the end face form an approximately circular shape. Tapping the thread first uses a vertebra and then using the two vertebrae. With one attack, it is time to retreat a few times in order to make the iron filings fall. Although the last hole, the hole is not very in the middle, but the overall feeling is good, this is the crystallization of our first labor. Looking at us in our own work, each of us feels extremely proud. Of course, the teacher's credit is indispensable. Whenever we are wrong or very tired, we can see the teacher guiding me and demonstrating it myself. He is also sweating and panting. Seeing this often gives me motivation. A few days later, looking at my own processing results, what we want to say most is to thank the teachers who have guided us.

Finally, with the help of teachers and classmates, the second and third works were successfully completed. Every time there is progress, but every time there are still errors, but the mistakes are getting less and less. This shows that my fitter is moving towards a higher level step by step, which gives me another confidence. From this point, I sincerely thank the teacher once again, and this thank you is not a "teacher! Thank you!" can be fully expressed.

In this metalworking internship , we have learned a lot of extracurricular knowledge, and some things have benefited us for life. Although we are non-mechanical, this internship allows us to understand the value of learning, and to learn and polish the plane in the same way to be the best, but also to make us aware of the importance of hands-on. It’s just not enough to learn the theory. It’s not enough. Without practical experience, you can’t find your own hands-on ability. This requires a combination of theory and practice. More cooperation between the mind and the hands is needed.

The metalworking practice has trained us and improved our overall comprehensive quality, which has enabled us not only to have a deep understanding of the important significance of the fitter's internship , but also to improve our practical hands-on ability, so that we can better combine theory with practice. Consolidate the knowledge we have learned, and let us learn the professionalism of the teacher. The teacher took the trouble to find out the errors in the operation. We also promoted the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance and promoted the friendship between the students.

This week's internship is short and hard, but what I have learned is precious. It not only allows us to understand the knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and the application of new processes, new technologies and new equipment in machinery manufacturing, but also to cultivate, enhance and strengthen. Our engineering practice, innovation and innovation capabilities. Let me realize the hard work and happiness of being a worker, and at the same time consolidate my knowledge, all of which left me with good memories. The fitter's internship made me feel the pain and joy of being a worker, testing the knowledge I had learned, and recognizing the necessity and importance of modern tools. The fitter's internship makes me deeply understand the meaning of life - there is no difficulty in the world, as long as the effort is deep, the iron smashed into a needle!
