Second, the work objectives:
According to the "Guiding Opinions of the Wuxi Municipal Education Bureau on Promoting Bilingual Education Experiments", we carefully organized and solidly promoted bilingual education. Broaden the setting of bilingual courses, improve the bilingual learning environment, explore bilingual teaching models, and form a bilingual education system with school-based characteristics.
During the school year, we must pay full attention to the creation of bilingual experimental schools, improve the bilingual education environment, set up experimental courses, conduct experiments in "health education", "Oxford 1A oral communication" and other disciplines, and initially form a bilingual school-based feature. 2006-2007 first semester
1. Unify thinking and understanding. From executives to English teachers and bilingual teachers to teachers throughout the school to learn about the theory of bilingual education and the guidance of the Municipal Teachers' Bureau on promoting bilingual education experiments, unifying thoughts and understanding, improving the consciousness of actively participating in bilingual education, and understanding the basic knowledge of bilingual education. Main measures
1. Pay close attention to the routine management of bilingual teaching
Focusing on the management of teaching process, we regularly check the teaching of "six serious" of bilingual teachers, go deep into students and classes, master the dynamics of bilingual teaching in time, and take effective measures to ensure that bilingual teaching works normally, standardizedly and effectively.
2. Strengthen the construction of bilingual teachers
Regularly organize bilingual teachers to carry out school-based training, learn advanced educational theories, and learn common methods of bilingual teaching , so that teachers gradually transform from "experience type" to "learning type" and "research type".
