Teacher's Team Leader's Internship Summary


September 7, 2019 - On November 6, 2019, a group of 9 people went to Longquan Elementary School for a two-month internship . The 60-day internship is hard and meaningful. Because it not only allows us to really step onto the platform, let us truly understand the teacher's sense of satisfaction and a responsibility for the teacher, and let us first contact the class guide work, accumulated a lot of valuable experience... ... With the support and guidance of the leaders, teachers and team teachers of Longquan, our internship has been a complete success.
Longquan Elementary School is not superior in terms of school conditions, and the equipment is not complete. However, the teachers there are very experienced, have a high level of teaching, and have a set of methods for managing their own students. Because of this, we learned a lot of classroom teaching methods and management class skills from different teachers. The requirements of the internship school are also strict. On the first day we arrived, we met with the school leaders and opened a simple meeting. At the meeting, we introduced the basic situation of the internship school, the problems that should be paid attention to during the internship and the situation of the assigned instructors. At the same time, we also asked for the requirements: the difficulty of preparing lessons should be controlled, and the knowledge should be lively and vivid. The form teaches students and fully mobilizes the enthusiasm of the students... The internship school has arranged five internship classes for us. Our nine students are divided into five groups, each of which is responsible for the teaching and class work of a class.
The basic content of the internship consists of three parts: classroom teaching, class guidance work and education investigation.
First, classroom teaching.
As a student teacher, we can strictly demand ourselves as a teacher, strictly demanding students, and humbly learning from the original teacher. Some time before the start of the internship , we listened carefully to the lessons of the original teachers. Do a good job of taking lecture notes, pay attention to the part of the teacher who explains the process different from his own ideas, in order to absorb the advantages of the teacher. At the same time, simply write down your doubts and think why the teacher would say this. After class, we will get together to discuss the lessons of the original teacher, where we should learn, how to apply these advantages to our future teaching. Of course, each teacher has its own characteristics, and there are places worth learning. After class, we will try to figure out their teaching ideas, language expression and methods to mobilize students' enthusiasm.
At the same time, we are all preparing for the first class. The first class is very important. It is easy to give students and instructors a sense of trust in the first class. We have already prepared these contents before we came to the internship school, but now we have to prepare lessons in the group according to the students. For the first class, all the students in our group were fully prepared and tried in the group. The students in the group gave their opinions and suggestions to the students who gave the lecture. Try to talk - modify - try, so practice and improve repeatedly. We have all been successful in the first class, but there are also many places for improvement. We are all humbly learning the teaching experience of the teacher and trying to do better next time.
Our group insisted on: Preparing lessons, trying to explain, and modifying the lesson plans before each class. And telling the original teacher about their teaching ideas and listening to his suggestions voluntarily; the group often listens to each other and evaluates classes. Every time we finish a class, we will take the initiative to ask the original class teacher how to do this class, what are the areas to improve, etc., what methods and experience, we will discuss and communicate within the group. At the same time, each instructor is able to listen to the lessons of the students in each class, and has given us a lot of valuable teaching experience. The entire teaching internship work was carried out smoothly, leaving a good impression on the internship school! Thanks to the support of the school leaders, the guidance and help of the teacher and the instructor, Mr. He, our teaching standards have been greatly improved. Practice has proved everything. The three representatives of our group have three open classes, which are very successful and highly praised by the school leaders and teachers.
Second, the class guide work.
On the first day of going to the internship school, we have divided who is the class. Then, the school introduced the class guides and the teachers to give us an understanding. We are all eager to find the class guides to understand the class situation, and quickly understand the characteristics of the class they bring.
From the second day onwards, we will do every job according to the requirements of each class. Every morning, noon and evening we arrived at the school very early, urging students to do a good job in the construction site and classroom hygiene; under our efforts, the construction site and classrooms were clean. Every day, we exercise with each other and see which classmates are not doing exercises. They will find another time to talk to him and encourage him to do serious exercises in the future. At the same time, we are actively cooperating with the work of the original class guide. For example, during the labor class, we completed the work according to the requirements of the original class guide. In addition to class time, we have been following the class and took the opportunity to communicate with them to improve their understanding of the students. After class, we also pay great attention to tutoring students. We will patiently explain to them the questions raised by students.
In terms of class work, each class guide works differently, but the experience is very rich and there are many experiences we should learn. If we learn the good management class experience in the class guide, we will discuss and learn in the group. I remember once, the class guide of our group told me that to deal with difficult students, don’t rush to criticize him or punish him; some bad performances usually put in the eyes first, so that he can’t guess you, wait for the evidence to be collected. If you just "govern", he will be convinced. We all say that this method is very clear, and the class guide will inevitably encounter such a difficult student. We have to learn.
Time flies very fast, and when we really understand the characteristics of our students and start to build relationships with them, they are over. Although it was very short-lived, I felt that we all learned a lot, especially when we were serious and responsible, and we also tasted the teacher’s ups and downs and felt the wisdom and cuteness of the students.
Third, education survey.
During the first week of the internship , we began to observe the situation of the class we brought, and set up the corresponding survey scale according to the situation of the class we took. In the second week, we used the class to conduct a questionnaire survey. Soon we calculated the results of the survey and applied some of the conclusions we got to the classroom teaching and class guidance work. For example, in the case of some students doing nothing at school and not studying seriously, we have a theme class with the theme of “gratefulness”.
Fourth, other work.
Intern schools sometimes have teachers who take time off or go out to class. We have spent more than 100 classes in just two months. In just two months, we have gained a lot. Let us know how to improve our professional courses and have a better understanding of other courses. Two months of hard work, two months of hard work, short The short two months have benefited us a lot. As a student teacher, we can strictly demand ourselves as a teacher, be a teacher, and pay attention to our words and deeds and instruments. During the eight-week internship , let us first taste the ups and downs of being a teacher, and let us realize the responsibility of being a teacher.
