The two-week metalworking internship is coming to an end. When I first thought about it, I thought it would be a chore. I can’t wait for a time machine to turn the calendar faster. The first few days of the internship are always staring at the clock on the wall. It seems that time is like It is still. But later on, the more hope that the internship will end later, I hope to do more work in the factory and learn more.

The first two days were casters and blacksmiths. Because I didn't do anything, my strength was relatively small, so I was always unscrupulous when I was in the sand. At first I always felt that the dark sand was dirty. But then, with the deepening of the practice, I feel very interesting. It was still black and dirty sand. It was like magic in the hands of the master. In a short time, it became a sanding tire. It was really amazing. Later, each of us personally designed a commemorative coin and then made it in the same way. I made a Chinese chess piece with the word "will" for my father. Dad knew that he was very happy, and everyone said it. I also feel very happy, after all, I personally designed and produced it.

The hardest part is the fitter. When I was in the internship , I had a blood bubble, two scorpions, and a crying nose. It was really hard. But then I saw that the hammer and the opener I had made on the shelf of the dormitory really had a sense of accomplishment. "Pain and happiness", this is probably the true meaning of practice.

Next is welding. The two days of our internship welding is the highest temperature. Even if we sit outdoors for a while, we will sweat. Not to mention wearing tightly, working under high temperature flames and arcs, and occasionally iron scraps splash on the body. But I personally think that welding, especially arc welding, is the most interesting internship . It is also possible to master the welding technique, that is, to pay attention to lowering the electrode and slowing down the speed. In fact, it is quite interesting to push the electrode on the iron plate one by one. And my final welding job scored the highest score in our group, and the teacher praised the texture of my welding.

Compared to the first week, the second week of milling and milling, etc. is nothing. But the finished products for special processing and wire cutting are still very good. Especially for special processing, you can use a laser to draw a variety of graphics and texts you like on a beautiful piece of crystal. We all want to make a souvenir and take it back. But I ended up not drawing, it was done by a boy in the group. However, the effect of wire cutting is not bad, I am very satisfied with the finished product.

In fact, think about it carefully. The two-week internship does not have any in-depth knowledge and skills. But I think it is important that we have a preliminary understanding and understanding of the work of the factory and learned some basic methods for the future. A deeper learning has laid the foundation. Moreover, more importantly, through the two weeks of labor in the factory, through the study and communication with the workers' masters, each of us deeply understands the hard work of the workers and admire their creativity and understands what is called “ labour is the honour".
