Like a daffodil, calmly bloom

At the beginning, I worked at an advertising company and operated a small shop. I also used it for writing at night. After a while, because I was too tired, I decided to take time off to go home to recuperate.

My mother knew that I always liked narcissus, so I went home from work that day and bought two pots of narcissus for me. The mother said that the daffodils need to be kept for three minutes, only carefully carved, leaving axillary buds, removing the bulbs, will be more beautiful. As soon as I heard it, I came to the interest and decided to try it for myself.

I took a knife and carefully removed the hard skin from the outer layer of the bulb. I hesitated to face the fresh white stems. Because all the stems are very good, it makes me difficult to choose. After hesitating for a long while, I used a knife to inscribe a few times and said to my mother, "I am afraid that I will hurt the bones of the daffodils, or come."

The mother said: "The engraved narcissus should be decisive, otherwise it will not grow well." After that, she took up the knives and simply began to cut from the buds of the bulge on both sides, cutting, hooking, spinning, skillful, peeling layer by layer. The bulbs are removed, creating better conditions for the growth of axillary buds.

Sure enough, after getting rid of the bulbs and binding, the axillary buds grow very quickly. Soon, the narcissus blossomed, and it was very beautiful and fragrant.

After a break at home, my body and mind were relaxed and I decided to go back to work. My mother reminded me and said, "If you are as hard as you used to be, you will be tired of everything you want to do. You forgot to enter the advertising company and once said with pride and enthusiasm to be a good advertiser. 'Is it?' My mother’s words shocked me, yeah, when did I forget this sentence?

My mother patted me on the shoulder and said with a strong heart: "Children, life goals don't need too much. Advertising planning, you are a rare talent. As for writing and opening a store, how do you choose, you can do it yourself."

Looking at the two pots of daffodils in front of the window, I thought silently. Yes, my mother is right. Working in the workplace, just like carving narcissus - must remove unnecessary bulbs, leaving axillary buds, the daffodils will bloom gracefully.

I said to my mother, "You can rest assured, I know what to do." After that, I put down my writing, transferred the store, went to work at the company, and spent all my time and energy on the job.

Three years later, I was promoted to the position of Planning Director because of my excellent work. The success of my career reminds me of my mother's words and the two pots of narcissus. In the workplace, in order to be successful, you should remove the extra bulbs like a daffodil in order to calm down.
