Believe in yourself forever
K is my university's senior, and we have had the experience of working in the same city in less than a year. It was a time that was not a good time, because I was almost forced to change myself by the limit. He is a perfectionist, can't accept my dress without taste, and dare not speak the weakness of English. I couldn't tell what psychology was based on it at the time. He spent a lot of thoughts on transforming me and motivating me while swearing at me. As a result, my feelings for him during that time were also very entangled, and I was grateful and hated.
The most important thing that K teaches me is to believe in myself.
When I was in Beijing, I was still working in my first work unit, and I was dissatisfied with the status quo while working. K will often send some foreign company recruitment information to me, suggesting that I apply. I don't want to, the reason is that people's recruitment information is written in English six, and I only have four certificates. K said: What is there? I only have four levels. It will be fine, the certificate is not important.
At that time, I always felt that if I had a certificate of English six, I would be able to go to a foreign company. I couldn’t get a sixth grade. I went to learn BEC Business English. Later, I felt that if I had a human resources management certificate, I would be able to After I was promoted, I went to learn the intermediate level of human resources management. Later, I still didn't want to do human resources for a while. If I wanted to do accounting, I reported an accounting qualification certificate. The result is to sign up for money and skip classes to abandon the test. I didn't get a certificate.
K has always been disdainful. K said: What you can do has nothing to do with your academic credentials. You don't believe in yourself. Others believe in you. K said: When I apply for the position of A-head company, the recruitment requirements are junior college and above.
Yes, K works in a well-known mobile phone and computer company.
K, a well-known university in China, is a graduate student. The major is the earth science on the high school. After graduating, I applied for a college degree to apply for a job. For two years, I was called selling a computer.
However, K sells the computer very successfully. I don't remember how long it took him to become a manager and return to his favorite Shanghai. At that time, I envied and hate to ask him how much he was paying. He couldn't help but smugly said: "It's quite high, but I signed a confidentiality agreement with the company, and the salary cannot tell you."
As a human resources industry practitioner, I first knew about pay secrecy, or K told me.
Later, K jumped to a famous car company with a B-head. Before I saw him again, I heard that he drove a B-head car in Shanghai and married his girlfriend.
Seeing him again, he came to Beijing for a business trip.
K told me the story of a job change.
Before the job-hopping, K was the manager of Company A's flagship store, responsible for store sales and personnel management. Company B recruits his position as a marketing operations manager.
K has no relevant work experience and is not familiar with the automotive industry. He did not even have a driver's license when interviewing this position.
At that time, I have been doing human resources for six years. I know that big company recruitment will not only look at work experience, but also value learning ability and development potential, but it does not work at all. So I asked: How did you interview successfully?
K said: First, I am honest that I have no experience; second, I prove to them that I have the ability they want.
K is like this, from selling computers to selling cars.
But you see, in the past, K's job search logic has not changed:
I don't care if I don't have anything. I want the other person to know what I have. The most important thing is that I have confidence that what I have is what they want most.
Therefore, K has always been a career leader in my heart, relying on personal struggle to enhance my own value and persist in pursuing a better life.
He always believes in himself and uses this confidence to convince others.
