The infectious diseases in this plan refer to the three types of infectious diseases classified as Class A, B and C as stipulated in the Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases. Public health emergencies are sudden episodes of major infectious diseases that cause serious damage to health, unexplained epidemics, major food poisoning and occupational poisoning, and other incidents that endanger public health.
