The Sichuan Earthquake School has a heavy casualty and is a heavy lesson. The state requires schools around the country to attach importance to earthquake emergency drills and require students to master earthquake knowledge and protect themselves.

First, the purpose of the exercise

Through earthquake emergency drills, the teachers and students of the whole school can master the correct method of emergency suspension, familiarize themselves with the emergency evacuation procedures and routes of our school after the earthquake, and ensure that the earthquake emergency work of our school can be carried out quickly, efficiently and orderly when the earthquake comes. In order to maximize the protection of the life safety of teachers and students, especially to reduce unnecessary non-seismic damage. At the same time, through the exercise activities, students will be trained to listen to the qualities of command, solidarity and mutual assistance, and improve the emergency response capability and self-rescue ability under public emergencies.

Second, preparation before the exercise

Hold a class meeting before the exercise to familiarize students with the correct method of emergency suspension, analyze the environmental conditions of emergency suspension in our school, explain the significance of the earthquake emergency drill, explain the program, content, time and discipline requirements of the exercise, and each Class evacuation routes and arrival areas, while emphasizing that the exercises are preventive and simulated exercises, not real earthquake emergency and evacuation, so as to avoid misunderstanding and trigger earthquakes.

Emergency shock drill in the classroom
