Master student

A music student walked into the practice room. On the piano, there is a new “super difficult” score.

He flipped and muttered, feeling that his confidence in playing the piano seemed to fall to the bottom and burned out. It’s been three months. Since I followed this new instructor, he didn’t know why the professor was going to be in this way.

Reluctantly, he began to fight, fight, and fight with ten fingers. The piano sound covered the footsteps of the professor outside. The guiding professor is a very famous piano master. On the first day of the class, he gave his new student a score. "Try it!" he said. The music score is quite difficult, and the students are sluggish and full of mistakes.

"Not familiar yet, go back and practice!" The professor was so embarrassed when he was in class. The students practiced for a week, and they were preparing for the second week of class. I didn't expect the professor to give him a more difficult score. "Try it!" Last week's homework, the professor did not mention it. Students are once again struggling with more difficult skill challenges.

In the third week, the more difficult music scores appeared again. The same situation continued. Every time the students were killed by a new score in the classroom, they were brought back to practice, and then returned to the classroom to face again. It's hard to get twice the score, but I can't catch up with the progress. I don't feel the familiar feeling because of last week's practice. The students feel more and more uneasy, frustrated and discouraged.

The professor walked into the practice room. The student can't help it anymore. He has to ask the piano master how to continue to torture himself in the past three months. The professor did not speak, he took out the earliest first score and handed it to the students. "Play it!" He looked at the students with a firm look. Unbelievable things happened, even the students themselves were amazed, he could play this song so beautifully and so exquisitely!

The professor also asked the students to try the scores of the second class. Still, the students showed a high level of performance. At the end of the performance, the students looked at the teacher slyly and could not speak. "If I let you do what you are best at, you may still be practicing the earliest scores. It is impossible to have such a degree." Professor, the piano master, said slowly.

People are often used to expressing areas that they are familiar with and good at. However, if we are willing to look back and examine it in detail, we will suddenly realize that the seemingly intensive work challenges and the ever-increasing environmental pressures of increasing difficulty will not be able to develop the capabilities of today without knowing it.
