Spiel's idea is that this fight is inevitable anyway, then it is better to beat it later than later. Suffering is an inevitable part of life. Just like the children who were sent to the orphanage, as long as we entered life, it became impossible to choose – we can't choose not to suffer, we can only choose to suffer, whether to escape, or to face .

Human nature has an instinct that is to escape. Even if suffering is inevitable, I still want to drag it back as far as possible, but let the part that I can enjoy in my life also infiltrate concerns. But there is a straightforward trend in human nature, which makes people's eyes more than the shadow of suffering, and opens up more space for themselves to grow. Such people will always choose to deal with the suffering of life in a more mature way.

These two different attitudes to life are based on a different understanding of life. One understanding is that life is difficult and life is inevitably painful. Another understanding is that life is easy and life must be happy. Those who hold the former outlook on life have a true understanding of life, are prepared for life, are willing and able to withstand the hardships of life, and try to create happiness and meaning in suffering. Those who hold the latter outlook on life will refuse to accept when they encounter the difficult setbacks in life. They complain and avoid, but they can't hide. Instead, they make their lives very unhappy, and they feel that life is meaningless. Even some people who are eager to be happy every moment of their lives have developed psychological symptoms.

Suffering is the same, but the meaning of suffering is different. This different choice, different attitudes, will be revealed at a very young age. Among the children in the orphanage, Spielberg revealed his maturity. It is also based on this that he chose a more mature and full of life.
