Pipeline story

In 1801, there were two young people, one named Bobolo and one called Bruno. They were cousins and all were ambitious. They live in a village in Italy.

The two young people are good partners since childhood. They all have ambitious dreams.

They often talk endlessly, and in a certain way, one day, they can become the richest person in the village. They are smart and hardworking, all they need is an opportunity.

One day, the opportunity is coming. The village decided to hire two people to transport the water from the nearby river to the reservoir in the village square. The village chief handed the job to Boboro and Bruno.

Two people each grabbed two buckets and rushed to the river to start their hard work. At the end of the day, they filled the reservoir in the village square. The village chief pays them a penny per barrel of water.

"Our dreams have finally come true!" Bruno shouted. "I can't believe our good fortune."

But Bobello did not think so.

His back was sore and painful, and the hand used to lift the heavy bucket also bubbled. He is afraid to get up to the same job every morning. So he vowed to come up with a better way to transport the water from the river to the village.

"Bruno, I have a plan," the next morning, when they grabbed the bucket and rushed to the river, Bobopol said, "A bucket of water is only paid for 1 cent, but it is so hard to lift water back and forth. We might as well build a pipe and bring water from the river into the village."

Bruno stunned.

"A pipe? Who heard of such a thing? Bruno shouted loudly, 'Berboro, we have a great job. I can mention 100 barrels of water a day, one day is 1 yuan! I am already The rich! After a week, I can buy new shoes. After a month, I can buy a cow. After 6 months, I can build a new house. We have the best job in the town. We don't have to worry about it in this life! Give up your pipeline fantasy."

Berbero is not an easy-going person. He patiently explained the plan to his best friend, but unfortunately he could not change Bruno's thoughts. So Bobolo decided that even if he had to implement the project alone, he would spend part of the day's time on the barrel and use another part of the time and the time of the week to build his pipeline. He knows how difficult it is to dig a pipe in a rocky, hard soil. Because its salary is paid according to the number of barrels shipped. He knows that at the beginning, his income will fall. He also knows that to wait for a year or two, his pipeline can produce considerable benefits. Ben Pablo believes that his dream will come true, so he did his best to do it.

Soon, Bruno and other villagers began to laugh at Bobolo, calling him "pipe builder Boblow." Bruno earned twice as much money as Bobolo, and often showed off his new things to Berbero. He bought a donkey with a brand new saddle and squatted on the two floors of his new cover.

He also bought shiny new clothes and ate delicious food in the restaurant. The villager respectfully called him Mr. Bruno. He often sits in a bar, pays for everyone to drink, and people laugh loudly for the jokes he tells.

When Bruno was not comfortable in the hammock at night and in the week, Bobolo continued to dig his pipe. In the first few months, Plato's efforts did not make much progress. He worked very hard - harder than Bruno's work, because Berbero was still working at night and week.

But Bobolo constantly reminds himself that the dream of achieving tomorrow is built on today's sacrifice. Day by day, he continued to dig, only one inch at a time.

1 inch and 1 inch... becomes 1 foot. He repeated the sentence as he waved the chisel and into the rocky hard soil. 1 inch and 1 inch... becomes 1 foot, then 10 feet, ... 20 feet... 100 feet...

“Short-term pain brings long-term returns.” When the exhausted Berbero stumbles back to his humble cottage after the daily work, he always reminds himself. He measures the effectiveness of his work by setting goals for each day. He has always insisted on this, because he knows that one day, the return will be greater than the effort at this time.

Every time before he falls asleep, his ears are full of laughter from the villagers in the pub. "The eyes must be firmly on the reward." He repeated the sentence over and over again.

Just like this day, January and the moon have passed. One day, Papolo realized that his pipeline had been completed halfway, which meant that he only had to take half a bucket. Berbero used this extra time to build the pipeline. Finally, the date of completion is getting closer.

While he was resting, Bobolo saw his old friend Bruno still laboriously transporting water. Bruno's reciting is even worse, and due to long-term fatigue, the pace has begun to slow down. Bruno looked very angry and unhappy, as if he was destined to be angry with him for a lifetime.

His time in the hammock has decreased, but he spends more time in the bar. When Bruno came in, the old customers of the bar whispered: "The bucketman Bruno is coming." When the drunken in the town imitated Bruno's bow-shouldered posture and his way of walking with his feet, they giggled. Laughing. Bruno no longer drinks, please drink, and no longer tell jokes. He would rather sit alone in the dark corner of the morning, surrounded by a pile of empty bottles.

Finally, the great moment of Bobolo has finally arrived - the pipeline is finished! The villagers are crowded to see the water flowing from the pipeline to the sink! Now the village is full of fresh water. Some people in other nearby villages have moved to the village, and the village has developed and prospered.

Once the pipeline is completed, Boboro will no longer need to lift the bucket. Whether or not he works, water has been flowing in and out. When he was eating, the water was flowing in. When he was sleeping, the water was flowing in. When he didn't play for weeks, the water was still flowing. The more water that flows into the village, the more money it flows into the pockets of Berbero.
