There is always a way for you to keep

All the roads can't get through, is there a road that belongs to you?

Jack London is a famous American writer, the masterpiece "The Call of the Wild", "Martin Eden", "Love Life". He has created 19 medium-length novels, more than 150 short stories, three plays, a documentary literature and several political opinions. He is one of the most familiar American writers in China.

Judging from his literary achievements, perhaps we would think that he is a person with a high degree of literary accomplishment and literary talent. But no, he had barely read any books before the age of 20, and he never thought about being a writer, and he had never been to any school. He strolled around the society all day long, stealing, washing dishes in a tavern. Going to the gold mine for gold mining is a famous "problem teenager", the famous "Playboy".

He is an illegitimate child born in San Francisco, and his father is a diviner. Later, the mother married a stepfather who already had 11 children. However, his stepfather’s situation is not good. When he was 11 years old, he went out to work as a part-time worker. At the age of 14, he went to work in a canning factory and worked ten hours a day to get a dollar. After a short period of time, the 14-year-old child borrowed some money, bought a small boat, and participated in the sneak attack on the private oyster field, hoping to use this means to improve the poverty situation. He was arrested during the sneak attack and was punished for hard work. Soon, he gave up the "Oyster Pirates" business, when the sailors went to the Far East. But the nautical career was full of danger, and the income was not high. In 1894, at the age of 18, he participated in the "Keelin Army", which was part of the unemployed organization led by the Populists who marched to Washington. But soon the leader was arrested and the marching organization was also banned. He continued to live in the wandering life, and the prison and police station became the place where he often went in and out.

However, what is valuable is that the long-term wandering, the failure of countless attempts, and the confidence that made him lose his life, he is not willing to give up. The book is always his partner, even in the predicament of being wandering and being arrested at any time for "walking crimes." In 1896, when he was 20 years old, he worked hard for a few months and actually admitted to the University of California. However, in 1897 he was forced to drop out of school in a life that was not adapted to the campus. He went to Alaska for gold mining with his brother-in-law. However, the "Golden Dream" was quickly shattered, and he was seriously ill and went home.

All the roads are gone, and everything goes through the blood. Jack London seriously thinks about his life. He feels that he has no skills beyond writing.

He has a rich life experience and full of sympathy for the poor. He writes from his familiar life and writes from people he knows. At the age of 23, his first novel, "The Hunter," was published. At the age of 24, he published his first short story collection, "The Son of the Wolf," and he stepped onto the American literary world.

There is always a way left to the thinker, to those who do not admit defeat, and to those who have nowhere to go.
