Success is a simple matter to repeat

Success is a simple matter to repeat

At the 57th Cannes International Film Festival in 2004, the chairman of the jury was a 40-year-old American named Quentin Tarren Dino, a Hollywood ghost who came out of the audio-visual rental store.
In 1963, Quentin was born in Tennessee, USA. Her mother was an avid movie fan. When she was named Quentin in a movie, she gave the name directly to her child. Affected by the mother, the place where Xiao Quentin went the most was the cinema, and he fell in love with the movie.
He had a dream since he was a child and grew up to make movies. But the dream is too far from reality. Because the family is not affluent, he has no chance to accept systematic film education. At the age of 18, he dropped out of high school before he graduated. He had to go out to work and work as a buddy at a video rental store in Manhattan. Every day, he has to sort out countless video tapes. When customers come to the door, he will recommend them, find the video tapes they need, and then register for rental.
The work of the video store is not too busy, and there is always some free time every day. At leisure, Quentin finds movies of interest and watches them one by one. At that time, it was the spring of Hong Kong film. The Hong Kong-made action film was unique in the world of film. He had a special liking for Hong Kong action films and was a loyal fan of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. After watching countless movies, he unconsciously saw some doorways. The movie was no longer mysterious in his eyes. He thought, maybe he could do it.
The childhood movie dream always lingers in his mind. In his spare time, he begins to learn to perform and try to create a movie script. As he conceived the script, he kept watching the movie, changing from the original random viewing to the targeted research. In this way, using the convenience of working in a video store, he has to watch at least one or two movies every day, and he has seen almost all the classic movies in the world. Gradually, he not only mastered the style characteristics and conceptual skills of movies from all over the world, but also mastered a large number of film knowledge and shooting techniques, and found out the basic rules and routines of film creation. As the saying goes, if you read 300 poems of Tang poetry, you will not write poetry. He wrote the script and he was very handy.
Unexpectedly, his first script was actually taken by a Hollywood director and bought for $50,000. The initial test of the knives was a great success, and Quentin’s confidence increased greatly. From then on, he entered the movie door.
In 1993, Quentin's film "Pulp Fiction" won the Golden Palm Award at the Cannes Film Festival and the Oscar for Best Screenplay Award, which laid the foundation for his mastery in Hollywood. In 2004, he also mastered Hong Kong Kung Fu movies and filmed the "Kill Bill" series, which is popular all over the world.

A videobook buddy who has not graduated from high school has triggered a Hollywood earthquake. The methods and ways he learned about the film made the directors who were rooted in the red, and they were so arrogant that they had to call him a ghost. A reporter asked Quentin, where did your creative inspiration come from? He said that half of my inspiration comes from life, and half comes from movies I have seen. In a word, the road to success is not mysterious. There are only four words - practice makes perfect.
There is a trivial beginning for any great cause. Success is not difficult. Just repeat the simple things, you can.
