Inspirational story: the nourishment of life
A little boy almost thinks he is the most unfortunate child in the world, suffering from polio and leaving his lame and jagged and protruding teeth. He rarely plays or plays with his classmates. When the teacher asks him to answer questions, he always keeps his head down and says nothing.
In a normal spring, the little boy's father asked some saplings from his neighbor's house, and he wanted to plant them in front of the house. He told his children to plant one. The father said to the children, whoever grows the best seedlings, who will buy a favorite gift. The little boy also wants to get a gift from his father. But seeing the brothers and sisters jumping and plucking the trees, somehow, a cold thought came out: I hope that the tree I planted will die soon. Therefore, after pouring water once or twice, I have never taken care of it.
A few days later, when the little boy went to see the tree he planted, he was surprised to find that it not only did not wither, but also grew a few new leaves. Compared with the trees planted by brothers and sisters, it was more green and more pissed off. The father fulfilled his promise, bought a favorite gift for the little boy, and told him that from the tree he planted, he would become an outstanding botanist when he grew up.
Since then, the little boy has slowly become optimistic and up.
One night, the little boy couldn't sleep in bed, looking at the bright and bright moonlight outside the window, and suddenly remembered what the biology teacher had said: Plants generally grow at night, why not look at the little tree that they planted. When he came to the yard with a light hand, he saw his father splashing something under the tree he planted with his spoon. Suddenly, he understood everything. His father had been secretly fertilizing the little tree he planted! He returned to the room and let his tears flow freely...
After decades, the lame boy did not become a botanist, but he became the president of the United States. His name was Franklin Roosevelt.
Love is the best nourishment in life, even if it is just a spoonful of water, it can make the tree of life thrive. Maybe the tree is so ordinary and inconspicuous; maybe the tree is so small and even withered, but as long as there is water for this nutrient, it will grow and flourish, and even grow into a towering tree.
