American researchers have conducted an interesting psychological experiment called "Scar Experiment."

They announced to the volunteers involved that the experiment was designed to see how people react to strangers who are physically deficient, especially those with scars on their faces.

Each volunteer was placed in a small room without a mirror, and a professional makeup artist in Hollywood made a fleshy, shocking scar on his left face. After the volunteers were allowed to use a small mirror to look after the makeup, the mirror was taken away.

The key is the final step, the makeup artist said that it needs to apply a layer of powder on the surface of the scar to prevent it from being accidentally wiped off. In fact, the makeup artist secretly erased the traces of makeup with paper towels.

Volunteers who were unaware of this were sent to the waiting rooms of the hospitals. Their task was to observe people's reactions to their facial injuries.

The stipulated time is up, and the returning volunteers have the same feelings without exception—people are rude, unfriendly, and always staring at their faces!

In fact, their faces are the same as usual, and nothing is different; they come to the conclusion that it seems that wrong self-perception has affected their judgment.

This is really a thought-provoking experiment.

It turns out that how a person thinks about himself and what he can feel in the outside world. At the same time, this experiment also verified a Western maxim from one side: "Others see you in the way you see yourself." Isn't it?

A calm person feels more peace of mind; a person with low self-esteem feels more discriminatory;

A kind person feels a friendly vision; a rebellious person feels a provocative vision...

It can be said that there is a kind of inner world with what kind of inner world.

From this point of view, if a person complains for a long time about his indifference, injustice, and lack of sunshine, it means that what is really a problem is his own inner world, and his perception of self is biased.

At this time, what needs to be changed is the heart of oneself; and once the inner world is improved, the situation outside the body will inevitably improve.

After all, in this world, only you can decide what others see.
